For all you Disney Visa Cardmembers out there, we have some exciting news. Disney and Chase are launching a new Disney Visa card!
The Disney Inspire Visa Card launches today and will be the highest-tier card. It has a $149 annual fee compared to the Disney Premier Visa Card’s $49 fee, but here are every reason why it’s so worth the price difference.
The Inspire card doubles Disney Rewards Dollars from the Premier card. Premier cardmembers get 5% of card purchases made from Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+, while Inspire cardmembers get 10%. In addition, they’ll earn 3% on card purchases at gas stations and Disney locations to the Premier card’s 2%.
The Disney Inspire Visa Card also has some exclusive deals:
- You can earn 200 Disney Rewards Dollars after spending $2,000 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney Resort and Disney Cruise Line bookings
- You can get a $100 Disney Theme Park Tickets credit after spending $200 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney Theme Park Tickets
- You can earn up to $120 annual credit on Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN – Earn a $10 statement credit each month after spending $10 on subscriptions directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.ESPN.com with a yearly activation required
- There are also some Inspire exclusive card designs with Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Coco, and Up!
If you’re a new Disney Visa Cardmember, the Inspire card has the highest sign-on bonus. You’ll get a $300 Disney Gift Card eGift to use upon approval. Plus, you’ll get a $300 statement credit after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.
The Disney Inspire Visa Card also keeps standard benefits like:
- Special vacation financing
- Disney parks exclusive photo opportunities
- Savings on select onboard purchases with Disney Cruise Line
- Savings on select packages and experiences on Disney island destinations
- 10% off select merchandise purchases at select locations and 10% off select dining locations on most days at Disneyland and Walt Disney World
- Save 10% on select merchandise purchases at the Disney Store
- Access to limited-time offers in addition to year-round perks
