The amount of popcorn buckets we own is probably a little wild to some people, but hey, we love a lot of the designs, and they bring us joy, so why not?
If you love them as much as we do, or are interested in seeing what ones are offered around the parks, you won’t want to miss this NEW popcorn bucket that just dropped across Disney World, but we snagged it in EPCOT. However, this isn’t just any popcorn bucket — in honor of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, it’s got lots of Disney characters drawn in the unique style of Jerrod Maruyama!
Located at popcorn stands around Disney World, you’ll find the new Popcorn Bucket with artwork by Jerrod Maruyama! We also spotted this at a popcorn cart in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom.
This is one of those popcorn buckets that you’ll look at, and the more you check it out, the more characters you’ll see! In just a few seconds, we found:
- Park Icons (Tower of Terror, Tree of Life, Cinderella Castle, and Spaceship Earth)
- Ariel
- Woody
- Figment
- Olaf
- Elsa
- Orange Bird
- Dole Whip
- Miguel
- Crush
- Maui
- SO many more!
They’re all designed in Maruyama’s unique style, which focuses on really piling on the cuteness to faces in particular — we never thought we’d need to see the Tree of Life with a face, but now we’ve been proven wrong! On his Instagram, Maruyama shared that this is his first popcorn bucket he’s gotten to design, and he had a lot of fun with the project. We’re hoping to see him design more in the future, because we’d like one of these in every room of our house. He also shared that there’s a refillable mug available, which we’ll be on the lookout for.
