We’re booked at a Disney World Resort during the discounts you cited in this blog (between now and Feb. 19). Our hotel qualifies and my son is a Passholder. When I called reservations about it I was told it had to be a preferred room to get the discount! That’s not advertised that way. What do you suggest we do? We leave this coming weekend.
Hi Janie! Unfortunately, if that’s what Disney told you directly I’m not sure there’s really anything you can do. If you compare the prices, would it be about the same or a little more for a preferred room? I’d definitely compare to make sure you’re getting the best deal. You can also try calling back and speaking with a different Cast Member just to get a second confirmation that it’s preferred rooms only.
