REVIEW: We Just Ate A Fancy Grilled Cheese in EPCOT…And We Have Thoughts

Pop Eats! is a fan-favorite booth each year at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, serving up grilled cheese and soup! This year, there’s a new grilled cheese on the menu, and we’re checking it out!

Croque Monsieur Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup

We’re live at the 2026 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, checking out the food studios, artistic performances, merchandise, and more. There’s a LOT going on, but don’t let it overwhelm you. We’re here to tell you everything you need to know before your visit. Let’s go to Pop Eats! and check out what’s on the menu this year.

Eats

We ordered the all-new Croque Monsieur-inspired Grilled Cheese with Black Forest ham, Gruyère, and béchamel sauce served with tomato soup for $6.79 (or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan). This is a really interesting grilled cheese. Although the bread has a crispy exterior like a traditional Croque Monsieur, it doesn’t have the melted cheese on top of the bread. But you do get melted cheese inside, and it’s SUPER gooey.

There it is

For some weird reason, the flavor gave us more Alfredo sauce than anything. The cheese is so heavy inside that you barely taste the ham. The tomato soup is the same as we’ve had before. It’s just tomato soup, but it’s nice for dunking the sandwich in.

Next up, you can order the classic Grilled Cheese served with tomato soup for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit. In the past, we’ve found this dish to be comforting and delicious over the years.

Drinks

Returning again for 2026 is the beautiful Blanc de Bleu Cuvée Mousseux with fruit juice-filled pearls for $10.75. This cocktail is made with Blanc de Bleu Cuvée Mousseux with boba pearls and has been consistently offered at this booth since 2023! In the past, we’ve found it to pretty to look at but not our favorite drink at the Festival. This year, it was very sweet, and we thought it was very drinkable…maybe too much so! The boba pearls are kinda’ strange in it because you don’t really get to them until you’ve finished the drink.

Blanc de Bleu Cuvée Mousseux

New for 2026 is the Gulf Stream Brewing Company Pixel Perfect Pilsner. You can get a 6 oz pour for $6.00 or a 12 oz pour for $9.75.

OVERALL

If you’re craving those classic grilled cheese flavors with a bit of a twist and a cup of tomato soup, there’s really no other place in EPCOT that will satisfy like Pop Eats! The new grilled cheese is worth checking out if you like Croque Monsieur flavors, but otherwise, the classic grilled cheese is sure to make you happy, too. The classic is also one that kids will love.
