Disney World is known for its DOLE Whips, from classic flavors like pineapple to more adventurous seasonal flavors that rotate often. So when we were in EPCOT yesterday, we were so excited to see that they added a different DOLE Whip flavor!

Refreshment Outpost in the World Showcase offers both permanent menu items and rotating festival sweet treats. EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts begins January 16th, and while we can’t wait for all the new goodies, we’re pretty sure this DOLE Whip will be taken over by a festival offering at the end of this week.

The Raspberry Pineapple DOLE Whip Swirl was $6.29. The combination of classic pineapple and limited edition raspberry was complementary and refreshing. It’s the same creamy, fruity DOLE whip you know and love with a fun new twist. The waffle cone it was served in is your average waffle cone, and it stayed nice and crunchy even after our photo session.

The raspberry flavor isn’t new – it often pops up between EPCOT’s festival seasons – but to our knowledge, this is the first time it’s been served as a swirl offering with pineapple. This also isn’t an official menu item. We suspect that they rotate flavors between festivals to prevent product waste and keep things interesting. After all, we’re interested!

We’d recommend this DOLE Whip to any dessert fan, but if you love DOLE Whips like we do, raspberry is a rare flavor that isn’t offered too often. It used to be offered at Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort, but raspberry has been discontinued at most locations and is now almost exclusively offered during EPCOT festivals. We last saw the raspberry flavor at Refreshment Outpost’s Festival of the Holidays menu, but they were unable to swirl it with another DOLE Whip flavor at the time. We’re addicted to this new twist on a classic!
