Getting stuck on a Disney World ride can be annoying, but hear us out, it might just be the highlight of your trip!

Dinosaur!
We’ve ridden Disney World rides so many times that it’s a treat to see the ride in a completely new way. For example, getting to walk through Spaceship Earth with the lights on when it gets stuck, or Space Mountain with the lights on. Recently, a family member of someone on the DFB team got stuck on DINOSAUR and got to see the attraction with the LIGHTS ON!
The agents at Small World Vacations know how to save money on your Disney Vacation! When you book your trip with Small World Vacations, their experienced agents monitor your reservation for possible future savings. They also compare discounts and figure out which one works best for your travel party, dates, resort, and touring plans. And they share expert tips and first-hand advice with you about your magical vacation.
Alright, we’ll admit it, we’re crazy jealous! We’re not just jealous because we’ve never seen the ride with the lights on before, but we’re also jealous because the ride has less than a month left at the park, and we might NEVER get our chance to see it with the lights on!

DINOSAUR
If you ever have to evacuate an attraction at Disney World, there is usually an announcement that you aren’t allowed to take photos and videos. However, if there is no announcement made while you’re still sitting in the vehicle and the ride’s lights are on, then feel free to take a couple of pics (only if Disney doesn’t make an announcement saying you can’t). It’s pretty cool seeing a ride with the lights on!

DINOSAUR with the lights on!
If you’ve ever ridden DINOSAUR, you know how dark it truly gets on that ride. Some twists and turns are in pitch black almost. The father of a DFB team member got to see the hidden details in the sets, as well as more details on the dinosaurs on the ride.

Look at the dino!
With the attraction closing forever on February 2nd, along with the rest of DinoLand, it’s almost poetic to get to see new angles of the iconic ride before it goes. DINOSAUR will eventually become an Indiana Jones-themed attraction as part of the Tropical Americas transformation at Animal Kingdom. It’s crazy that we’re less than a month away from saying goodbye to one of the park’s staples. Although we are excited for what’s to come!

I am so sad that DinoLand is closing. My 5 year old does not know it yet.
