EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts starts NEXT WEEK, and we couldn’t be more stoked!
Disney just recently released the full menus for this festival, which already has us making a list of which options we want to try most, and we can’t wait to check out all the live entertainment and artwork that make this festival as special as it is. If you’re planning to head to the festival and want to make the most of it, these are the EIGHT essentials you can’t forget to pack!
Never Struggle to Find Silverware Again!
There’s nothing worse than grabbing an item you’re really excited about from a festival booth, only to find that there’s no silverware available. Solve the problem in advance and grab the Reusable Travel Utensils Set! Numerous of our reporters use these on festival days, and they’ve held up extremely well. Not to mention that the case it comes in makes it VERY easy to pack away.
Hold All Your Snacks Easily
You only have two hands, but by using a Tray, that doesn’t mean you have to limit yourself to only two snacks! By grabbing yourself a tray, you can load it with snacks to take back to a table and try multiple of the items on your list at once. Or, you can share with the others at your table if you’re feeling generous (we normally just hold them all to ourselves, but you do you!).
No More Paper Straws
Listen, we love that Disney is trying to be environmentally friendly by using paper straws in their parks, but let’s be honest — they’re of awful quality, and will fall apart in your mouth before you have a chance to drink your drink. Avoid that entire fiasco by grabbing yourself the Sunseeke Silicone Straws! They’re completely reusable and come with carriers to make bringing them around the parks super easy.
Keep Yourself Cool!
Festival of the Arts happens during the winter, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t warm days in Epcot. Sometimes, you may find that a restaurant or ride has its heat on way too high, and you find yourself overheating even when you need a jacket outside. We personally are big fans of the AMKEN Waist Fan to keep ourselves cool! We’ve tried a lot of fans in the parks, and this one is super powerful, but doesn’t get in the way of your day. You can wear it on your waistband, you can wear it on a lanyard around your neck, or hold it in front of you — we love the versatility!
Keep Everything Germ Free!
No matter what time of year it is in the Disney World parks, there are germs everywhere. The same can be said for anywhere publicly, but in Disney World, everyone is touching every handrail, ride vehicle, and everything in between. At a festival, when you may be eating more than normal, you wanna make sure your hands are staying as clean as possible — we prefer to do that with Hand Sanitizer Hand Wipes! They’re easy to keep in your bag and will give you peace of mind throughout the day.
Help Yourself Budget!
One of the best ways to budget in Disney World, in general, but especially on festival days, is with Disney Gift Cards! Now, you don’t have to wait to get to the parks to buy these — you can purchase them online ahead of time, or even grab them at your local grocery stores. These are especially helpful when budgeting for souvenirs or snacks at the festival — we know that from firsthand experience!
Hand Sanitizer That Won’t Get Your Bag Messy
There are lots of hand sanitizers out there, and while one of our reporters really didn’t WANT to love the Touchland & Disney Special Edition Hand Sanitizer + Mist Case as much as she did, there’s something to say about how easy it is to clip to the outside of your bag and spray on your hands whenever you need it. Plus, it’s Disney themed! How cute is that?
Protection Against The Sun is Always Important!
There’s a lot of sunscreen out there on the market, and at the end of the day, having ANY sunscreen to protect yourself against the sun is better than nothing. However, we’re big fans of the Supergoop! brand! They’ve got multiple different types to fit your skin type, activity level, and more, and we’ve got lots of members of our team who use it in the parks often.
We can’t wait to be at the opening day of the festival to bring you all the latest news and reviews, so stay tuned to DFB!
