Maybe you’re looking to book that next Disney World vacation, and maybe it can now come sooner than you were expecting! Take a look at some of the details you need to know about the deal:

The deal is ONLY valid for select continental U.S. flights.
The deal is applied to select flights booked from January 26th through May 13th.

Some other important things to note:

Points bookings do not include taxes, fees, and other government/airport charges of at least $5.60 per one-way flight.
Seats, days, and markets are limited. Fares may vary by destination, flight, and day of the week, and won’t be available on some flights.

There are some big changes happening with Southwest that will be applied to flights this year. As of January 27th, Southwest will officially switch to using assigned seating on flights. Fares will include new seat options to choose from: Standard, Preferred, and Extra Legroom. Each option will differ in costs, similar to other airlines.

On the same day the assigned seating change comes into play, customers who need neighboring seat(s) will need to proactively purchase the needed number of seats before their travel to ensure the additional seat is available. Also, this will be the first full year without Southwest’s “Bags Fly for Free Policy.” The airline is now charging for checked bags on Basic, Choice, and Choice Preferred fares.
