Disney’s newest announcements are all about getting more out of your vacation.

Rapunzel and Flynn Rider dancing during Cool Kid Summer
Instead of focusing on just one deal, Disney released a full suite of summer updates designed to add flexibility, value, and fun to Disney World trips in 2026. Altogether, these changes offer more ways to save, more ways to play, and more reasons to plan ahead!
Disney just kicked off summer planning season with a big batch of announcements — and if you’re dreaming about a summer 2026 Disney World trip, there’s a lot here worth bookmarking. From free extra park days to hotel discounts, water park perks, and even dining deals for kids, this lineup is all about stretching your vacation value and maximizing your time in the parks.

LOTS of fun here!
Let’s dive into what’s been released so far…
Two Extra Theme Park Days — Free
One of the biggest highlights is a new ticket offer that practically gives you bonus vacation time. If you purchase a select 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package, Disney will add two free room nights and two additional theme park ticketed days. So a 4-day ticket becomes six days of park admission at no extra ticket cost! This deal is available for visits from May 26th through September 15th, but it must be booked by February 15th.

Tickets
This is one of those offers that changes how you plan, because suddenly longer visits don’t have to equal higher ticket costs — just smart booking.
Disney World Hotel Deals: Save Up to 30%
If you’re planning summer stays separate from the ticket-bundle deal, Disney will also be offering up to 30% off select Disney World hotel rooms for stays most nights between May 1st and October 4th. You don’t have to be part of a Disney membership or group to book this offer either!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside
Staying at an on-site Disney World hotel during summer is already fun, but saving on rooms while locking in early bookings makes it even better!
BIGGER Discounts for Florida Residents & Annual Passholders
Disney isn’t just offering regular hotel savings — Florida residents can save up to 35%, and Annual Passholders can save up to 40% on rooms at select Disney World hotels this summer.

Disney World Annual Pass
These offers are already live, and availability is limited, making early January prime planning time if you’re a local or Annual Passholder!
Disney Water Park Perk IS BACK!
Here’s a perk that feels like bonus vacation energy: Disney World hotel guests staying between May 26th and September 8th can enjoy free admission to one of Disney World’s water parks on their check-in day. Additionally, you’ll be thrilled to learn that both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach water parks will be open during this period, so you can pick the water park that fits your vibe.

Blizzard Beach
This is a great way to decompress on arrival day and is a welcomed break from summer heat and theme-park lines!
Free Dining Plan for Kids
Looking to make meal planning easier? In 2026, you can take advantage of a free dining plan for kids ages 3–9 when you purchase a qualifying package at a Disney World hotel that includes a dining plan for anyone else ages 10 and up. That means kids eat for free, which is a HUGE value add for families who love sit-down meals, quick service breaks, and snacks across the parks and hotels.

Dining plans aren’t for every trip, but when they’re free for younger visitors in your party, it can simplify budgeting and reduce out of pocket expenses during your vacation.
Cool Kid Summer Activities & Experiences
Beyond deals and discounts, Disney also shared that fun seasonal experiences are returning and being introduced for the first time, which makes Cool Kid Summer 2026 feel extra special:
-
Bluey & Bingo at Conservation Station: play and dance with your favorite animated pups at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
-
Toy Story Pals at Diamond Horseshoe: Jessie, Woody, and friends bring a western-style revue full of fun and dancing.
-
GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall: family-friendly activities, games, and DJ-style fun with Goofy and friends.
- Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!: a new live show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, perfect for little ones.

Bonus park days, hotel discounts, water park perks, free kids dining, and seasonal experiences come together to create more value and flexibility in how you build your trip. So if a summer Disney World vacation is on your radar, get ready to take advantage of all these great deals before they slip away.

I had tickets for September in my cart prior to the 2 day free deal. When I saw the deal, I was very excited to see the savings reflected in the price…sadly, it was not. The bottom line price was basically the same. Also, there are so many deals on hotels outside of Disney for suites that are too good to justify the cost of cramming in a single room just to stay on Disney property…it’s silly. Disney’s inflated prices just can’t justify “staying in the Magic” or “in the bubble”. Those prices killed the Magic.
