While you might be thinking about all the rides you’re going to hop on at Disney World, you can’t forget about meeting some of the characters! Seeing your family’s favorite movie characters come to life right in front of you is only one of the reasons Disney Parks is so magical.
Before you head to Magic Kingdom to meet some of the Fab Five (aka Mickey and his pals), you need to know about this character change.
The friends at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus will not be meeting inside their meet and greet spots, but will be outside in Storybook Circus. This goes for the Dashing Disney Pals, Minnie and Daisy…
…and the Daring Disney Pals, Donald and Goofy. Because of this, you might not be able to see the wait times for the meet and greets on the Disney World app. There’s currently not a reopening date for their meet and greets, but the website says this is a temporary change, so we expect them to go back to their spots at some point. They might be renovating or refurbishing the spaces.
Want to meet Mickey as well? He’s in his own spot in the front of the park in the Town Square Theater. He’s in his magician outfit!
I always recommend checking out character dining if characters are a huge priority for you. In Magic Kingdom, you can try Cinderella’s Royal Table, where you can meet different princesses…
…or the Crystal Palace, which has Winnie the Pooh and Friends. It’s one of my absolute favorites because I’m a huge Eeyore girl, and this is the only spot you can find him at Disney World on the regular.
