We’re closing the book on 2025 and getting ready for all kinds of Disney planning in 2026!
There’s A LOT happening at the Disney Parks worldwide in 2026! Theme park expansions, new restaurants, new and returning food and merch offerings, ride changes, etc. — there is so much going on when you take a peek at the calendar. However, we’re already looking ahead to the MOST IMPORTANT Disney event being held AWAY from the theme parks!
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is BACK in 2026, and we have an idea of when tickets will go on sale!
Held in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center on August 14th, 15th, and 16th, 2026, this Disney expo features Disney executives, celebrities, and fans from around the globe joining together in the ultimate celebration of all things Disney.
As of this writing, Disney has promised that tickets will go on sale in Spring 2026. Specific dates have yet to be announced, but Disney did state that “D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans will receive priority access to purchase tickets.” Purchasing details will likely be coming soon.
This fan experience is comprised of special events, exclusive merchandise, unique exhibits, and fascinating presentations and panels (including Disney theme park, vacationing, and entertainment news).
Additionally, D23 Day at Angel Stadium will be held on August 12th, and D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort will be held on August 13th.
This event is THE Disney fan event of the year, where Disney reveals all kinds of movie news and updates, theme park expansion plans, and upcoming changes. This expo is where we’ve learned about things like new Avatar movies, lands like the new Monsters, Inc. Land, Piston Peak, Coco ride, Indiana Jones ride, and Avatar Land, and updates on the expanding Disney Cruise Line fleet. To say it’s a big deal is an understatement.
If you hope to attend or just want to be in the know with all things Disney, stay tuned right here at the Disney Food Blog, as we’re keeping up with all the latest D23 and Disney updates!
