Make sure you read this before you make a mistake and pay full price for a Disney gift card!
For the most part, whenever you buy a Disney gift card, you’re essentially converting regular dollars into Disney-approved credits at an equal value. With that said, there are still ways to save and even make cash back on Disney gift card purchases, especially if you shop with Target and/or Sam’s Club!
Get Cash Back Through Target
While this deal isn’t for everyone, Target Circle Cardholders (formerly known as the Target Red Card) can get 5% discount on most Target purchases — including Disney gift cards! The Circle Card also offers free 2-day shipping, an extra 30 days for returns, and no annual cost. As for the Disney gift card, if you use your Circle Card on one at a Target store, online through the store’s website, or through the Target app, you’ll pay less than face value. Currently, Target’s website offers the Disney gift card in denominations of $25, $50, $100, $200, and $500. Cards bought through this method are delivered via email.
Sam’s Club Also Offers Gift Card Savings
A Sam’s Club membership gives you access to all kinds of savings, including Disney gift card deals! For example, right now you can get a digital $200 Disney gift card for $190! Any kind of savings helps, and this particular deal allows you to get the card (which works on purchases at Disney World, the Disneyland Resort, the Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Disney Store U.S. locations, and DisneyStore.com) via email. Of note, this member-exclusive deal allows for a maximum of 4 per order and a maximum of 4 per membership.
Save On A $500 Gift Card Through Sam’s Club
Sam’s Club also offers savings on the $500 Disney gift card! This physical card costs $484.98 with a Sam’s Club membership and can be purchased online and picked up in person. Keep in mind that this offering is limited to a maximum of 2 per order.

So at our Sam’s Club, was able to get 10 x $500 at a time (just note credit cards will decline the same time thinking it’s fraud the 2nd time around). Was able to use them to help pay for our trip, but on the DisneyWorld site had to enter them one at a time, so it takes a little time to do so.
