With the characters also set to make their mark on one of the most iconic attractions at Walt Disney World, it’s clear Disney is fully embracing the Muppet magic once again. And now, that momentum continues with a brand-new Disney+ special — and we finally have a DATE!
Muppet fan, REJOICE! The Muppets are returning with a brand-new Disney+ special soon. Disney has officially announced that The Muppets Show will make its streaming debut on February 4th, 2026, with a very special guest appearance by Sabrina Carpenter.

This latest addition to the Muppet universe comes straight from Disney+’s official announcement (which also included a quick teaser trailer, leaving us wanting more), setting the stage for another fun, music-filled adventure featuring the beloved band of Muppet mayhem. Pop sensation and actor Sabrina Carpenter, known for her chart-topping music and roles in film and TV will join Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and the rest of the gang in what we’re certain will be a lively, heartfelt, and hilarious celebration of everything that has made The Muppets such an iconic part of pop culture.

While outside of what’s shown in the quick teaser trailer, Disney has released limited details about the special’s plot thus far. The hype surrounding The Muppets Show centers on classic Muppet chaos we hope will be once again filled with songs, sketches, guest star hijinks, and, of course, emotional moments that tug at the heartstrings. We’re betting we can expect the familiar blend of slapstick humor and clever musical numbers that’s been a trademark of the franchise since its early days.
