The Orlando International Airport has launched an Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program, allowing guests to visit the airport without a plane ticket.
We’ve missed being able to hang out with our family members before they fly, but now we can wait a little longer on the dreaded airport goodbye hug.
The Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program allows non-traveling guests to visit the airport and access post-security amenities. You’ll be able to shop, dine, and spend time with your family and friends before they fly out.
How does it work? You’ll need to apply online up to seven days in advance with your information and a TSA-approved photo ID. You’ll receive a confirmation email confirming receipt of your request. If you don’t see a particular date on the form, it means there are no more available passes for that day.
You’ll receive TSA approval via email after midnight on the day of your visit. When entering the TSA security, you can show them the Experience MCO Visitor Pass along with your TSA-approved ID. Make sure you don’t print it; show it directly from the phone.
Guests will still undergo the same security and safety screenings and must follow the 3-1-1 liquid rule and not bring prohibited items. You will not use your TSA PreCheck, CLEAR, or MCO Reserve program while using your Experience MCO Visitor Pass.
They’ll be available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis, all subject to TSA approval. You’ll also need to leave the terminal by 8 PM. You won’t be able to exit and re-enter, either.
