Think Disney fireworks are impressive? Wait until you see the ones they only do once a year.

New Year’s Fireworks at Magic Kingdom
When New Year’s Eve rolls around, Disney World pulls out all the stops with rare, limited-time fireworks shows across multiple parks — each offering a completely different way to ring in the New Year. Whether you’re after classic castle magic, a global celebration, or a high-energy party atmosphere, these special performances are a major reason Disney World is one of the most popular places to welcome the New Year.
It’s almost time to ring in the New Year with a little extra sparkle, because Disney World goes all out for New Year’s Eve! This year, you’ll be able to enjoy your night even further by choosing from THREE rare fireworks shows you can only see once a year. If you’re visiting during the final days of December, these limited-time nighttime spectaculars are some of the most unique entertainment offerings on property — and they’re well worth planning your trip around!

Champagne and Glasses
Over at Magic Kingdom, you’ll catch Fantasy in the Sky, the park’s New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular. This show replaces the usual nighttime fireworks and features classic Disney music paired with massive bursts of color lighting up the sky above Cinderella Castle.

Happy New Year!
What makes this one extra special is that Fantasy in the Sky is performed twice nightly on December 30th and 31st, giving you two chances to catch it while also including a countdown-style finale just before midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Meanwhile, EPCOT hosts Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration, a rare version of its nighttime fireworks designed specifically to welcome the New Year.

EPCOT New Year’s Eve
This show takes place only on December 31st at 11:54 PM, perfectly timed to count down to midnight. Expect celebratory music, an energetic finale, and a party-like atmosphere around World Showcase as everyone from around the globe rings in the New Year together.
And don’t forget, if you’re planning on joining the celebration from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, on New Year’s Eve, you can experience a NEW special midnight fireworks celebration designed to cap off the park’s DJ dance parties and extended evening festivities.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
This show is exclusive to December 31st and offers a more high-energy, party-forward way to welcome the New Year.
Whether you’re aiming for classic Disney magic, a global celebration, or a full-on party vibe, these three rare fireworks shows offer something for everyone. And if you’re spending New Year’s Eve at Disney World, a little extra planning can help you end the year with a truly unforgettable view!
