Who Knew Watching 'Home Alone' Could Pay Off At The Airport?

‘Tis the season to watch all your favorite holiday movies on Disney+, but one movie might be the most ICONIC of them all: Home Alone.

As we all know, Home Alone is about a boy named Kevin who accidentally gets left behind when the rest of his family goes on a holiday trip. Kevin ends up causing trouble for some would-be burglars, and hijinks ensue. But who knew this movie could help you at the airport? Well, thanks to a new program, it can!

Disney+ is celebrating 35 years of Home Alone with some unique offerings. Just in time for the holiday travel rush, Disney+ and CLEAR have teamed up to roll out a “No Kevin Left Behind” program at the airport between December 17th and 21st. CLEAR+ members at nine major airports will receive limited-edition Home Alone ornaments.

However, here’s the best part. If your name is Kevin, and you’re a CLEAR+ member, you’ll get a code for a FREE CLEAR concierge service for your next trip. Airports participating in the promotion include Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), Denver International (DEN), Newark Liberty International (EWR), John F. Kennedy International (JFK), Los Angeles International (LAX), LaGuardia (LGA), Orlando International (MCO), Chicago O’Hare (ORD), and Seattle-Tacoma International (SEA).

Other ways Disney+ is celebrating the Home Alone 35th anniversary including building a record-breaking gingerbread house based on the McCallister home in the film. The house will be made from 5,700 pounds of all-purpose flour and over 4,200 eggs with 4,400 gingerbread tiles and 800 roof tiles, all held together with 20 gallons of edible glue and finished with 20 pounds of fondant. You can see it at Hollywood and Vine during the evenings on December 18th and 19th. While you’re there, be sure to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots.

Disney is also bringing Little Nero’s Pizzeria (from the movie) to life with Prince St. Pizza. The boxes will be Little Nero’s boxes, plus there will be updated menus, collectible packaging, and more. The location in Studio City in L.A. will even get a full interior and exterior Little Nero’s makeover. Prince St. Pizza will also temporarily rename its classic cheese pizza to “The Lovely Cheese Pizza” in a nod to the movie.
