Anytime we need a bit of a pick-me-up, we often turn to The Muppets, because they never fail to make us laugh!
While we’re looking forward to the new Monsters, Inc. Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’re missing Muppets Courtyard already, since we can’t see some of our favorite characters in the park as easily now. We can still find our fair share of the Muppets online, though, which we appreciate, especially when they’re giving us running tips!
To celebrate the runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas, The Muppets have taken to social media to share their favorite running tips to help you cross the finish line!
We’ve gotta start off with Kermit, of course, who reminds us to stay hydrated so we can “hop” over the finish line!
Miss Piggy thinks success lies in what you wear for your race, such as rhinestone running shoes, and we see what she means! Make sure you’re feeling comfortable before you run, and wear something you feel confident in.
Gonzo is reminding us to find motivation to keep going, even when things get hard. For him, it’s imagining your favorite chicken is at the finish line, but for you, it may be the idea that you’ll get to eat your favorite meal, take a nap, or feel proud of what you accomplished!
And don’t forget to maintain proper form! We 100% trust a Muppet wearing a suit and glasses, so we’ll follow this advice and commit to no nonsense.
You can still sign up for the runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas, so don’t miss out on the fun! You can take part anywhere from the United States, so whether you’re running outside, at the gym, or at home, you can join in.
