We’ve got some great news for travelers who are heading to Disney World for the holiday season, but aren’t attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (or, who are, but just want to see Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade more than once).
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Typically, the only way to see this iconic parade is during the after hours event, which is an additional ticket cost, but closer to Christmas Day, the parade becomes available during the day for guests to see! Now we know exactly when you can see the parade as a regular Magic Kingdom guest this holiday season.
According to Disney World’s calendar, the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will be in Magic Kingdom on the following dates during the day:
- December 22nd: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 23rd: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 24th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 25th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 26th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 27th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 28th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 29th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 30th: 12 PM and 3 PM
- December 31st: 12 PM and 3 PM

This means there are NUMEROUS additional experiences to get to see this exclusive parade without paying for an additional after-hours ticket, which we love. It’s the same parade you’ll see during the party, but you may even be able to see more details than normal, since it’ll be daylight outside.

We highly recommend watching the parade from Main Street, U.S.A., if you can snag a spot, but anywhere along Frontierland is also a great choice, and may be slightly less crowded.

Last year Very Merry ended December 20, 2024. We were going Christmas week. Consequently, we saw the same parade in the day time. It was awesome.
