If you’ve ever wandered through Disney World hungry, you know the options can be overwhelming — and that’s a good thing! From quick snacks you can grab in a flash, to comforting sit-down meals, to high-end dining experiences that feel like a treat, Disney has something for every appetite and every mood.
We recently stopped by Prince Eric’s Village Market at Magic Kingdom to see what was cookin’, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here!
Atmosphere
Tucked just behind Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the heart of Fantasyland, Prince Eric’s Village Market feels like a cozy seaside stall straight out of The Little Mermaid’s world. It’s typically open from 11 AM to around 5 PM or 6 PM, depending on the date you visit.
The stand blends perfectly into the surrounding storybook village, with rustic wood details, nautical touches, and open-air charm. It’s the kind of place you can wander up to between attractions for something quick and refreshing — whether that’s a chilled slush on a sunny Florida afternoon or a light snack to power through the rest of your park day.
Keep in mind, though, that this is a true snack stand — meaning you won’t find any tables or chairs around here. But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?!
Menu
The menu here is fairly straightforward and made up mostly of snack items, with a few popular snacks peppered in, too. The Turkey Leg serves as your entree here, while the snacks also have a great walkability score on our count. The beverages are mostly slushy options, and bottled soda or water.

And now, onto the main event — the food!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the popular Turkey Leg for $16.99. It’s a roasted turkey leg served with chips as a side. It’s become a highly sought-after snack for folks visiting Disney World and is almost as synonymous with the parks as Disney popcorn or DOLE Whips.
First of all, we can’t deny that this thing is expensive — $17 for a turkey leg is a little ridiculous. But, it is MASSIVE and certainly shareable for a hearty snack. It’s smoky, salty, and savory, which is pretty much exactly what you want in a turkey leg. Texturally, it’s a mixed bag. Most of the meat we had was pretty moist, but the outer bits can get a little too crispy and hard, making the experience slightly unpleasant for us — but to each their own. Turkey legs are not for the faint of heart!
We needed a whole meal here, so we also grabbed the Jumbo Pretzel with cheese for $13.49. This is a pretzel almost as big as your head served with a cup of cheese sauce.
This is a HUGE step up from a plain ol’ Mickey pretzel (though we do love how cute they are). It was served warm and was perfectly soft on the inside with that nice crust on the outside. Our biggest complaint is that there wasn’t enough salt on it, but your mileage may vary with that here.
We loved the cheese — it was a bit more than your average plastic cheese. It had an herby flavor to it, so we’re pretty sure they add some spices and seasonings to it. We’d definitely recommend grabbing this pretzel here as opposed to any of the snack carts with Mickey pretzels and packaged cheese!
We had to wash it all down with a specialty drink, of course!
Drinks
To drink, we picked up the Seaside Serenade for $6.75. This is made of a piña colada slushy topped with curaçao syrup and blue boba pearls.
Disney loves some blue curaçao, and in this case, we think it totally works with the piña colada situation going on here. It’s topped with whipped cream, which promptly melted in the Florida heat. Still, though, this was enjoyable and refreshing with major tropical vibes going on. We don’t think the boba really added much to the drink, but it would be fun for kiddos!
So, is this spot worth a stop?
Nosh or Not
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You want a healthy snack in Disney World: It’s true! Disney sells fruit, too! You don’t have to load up on carbs and sugar all day if you don’t want to – just pop over here for a quick apple or some grapes.
- You’re looking for a grab-and-go option: It doesn’t get much easier than this. This market was designed for convenience. It’s easy to visit, quick to check out, and full of grab-and-go snacks.
- You want to see what it’s like to eat a giant turkey leg: Admit it, you’re a little curious. Those giant turkey legs aren’t for everyone, but they do have some serious fans. If you’re Team Turkey Leg, this is where to get it!
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You want a unique Disney snack: Disney isn’t reinventing the wheel here. This is more of a utilitarian spot with the essentials, so check out a nearby snack stand if you want a more creative treat.
- You packed your own snacks: Did you know that you can pack your own snacks? You’ll probably get a much better deal on apples and grapes if you use a grocery delivery service, rather than overpaying for fruit in Disney World.
- The smell of turkey legs makes you sick: Like we said, giant turkey legs aren’t for everyone. You’ll see (and smell) a lot of them if you choose to eat here. Don’t say we didn’t warn ya!
Overall
Do we think you need to go out of your way for Prince Eric’s Village Market? No, not really (unless you want a solid pretzel and cheese). But, if you’re craving a snack and you’re nearby this spot, we do think it’s a good option — especially if you’re after something not fried or heavy, like the grapes or pickle-in-a-pouch you can get here.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
