We all love Gideons Bakehouse — they’re always cooking up the best sweets and treats at Disney Springs! What if we told you the next thing they could be cooking up is even BIGGER?!

Gideon’s Bakehouse
The parent company of Gideon’s just filed a permit at Disney Springs, and something BIG could be on the horizon for our favorite cookie shop! Let’s take a look at everything we know right now.
We just found out that a new Notice of Commencement was filed by the parent company of Gideon’s, which suggests that the very popular Gideon’s Bakehouse could be preparing a second space at Disney Springs, or maybe something completely new that we can’t even imagine.

Gideon’s Bakehouse
This permit is for the former Art of Shaving Location, a store located only a few doors down from Gideon’s Bakehouse in The Landing, and has been closed for almost a year.

Art of Shaving store now!
When looking at the details of the permit, the client listed on the filing is The First Raven LLC. The company is led by Steve Lewis, who is the creator of Gideon’s Bakehouse. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about why they filed this permit, or what it’s for. Neither Disney nor Gideon’s has made any announcements. Technically, we don’t even know if this will be a “Gideon’s” location. However, we couldn’t help but get excited at the possibility!

Art of Shaving closed!
The former Art of Shaving space isn’t the biggest, so it will be interesting to see what goes inside it. We’ll have to keep an eye out for any more news around this situation. Eventually, we’ll learn about what might be coming and when that will be.
