Disney just dropped ALL of their events lined up for 2026 and it’s packed with festivals, celebrations, and surprises for every Disney fan!

Disneyland is rolling out an exciting lineup of festivals, seasonal events, and limited-time celebrations for 2026, offering us even MORE new ways to experience Disney magic and storytelling at work throughout the year. All of this is in addition to updates for popular rides and attractions, new yet familiar Disney character faces we’ll FINALLY see inside Disney parks for the first time, and a confirmed date of when you’ll be able to experience Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration for the last time. So if you’re considering a visit to Disneyland in 2026, here’s a quick peek into everything you’ll want to take note of as you’re planning your next visit!
From cultural traditions to seasonal festivities and family-friendly fun, Disneyland is rolling out a full year of cherished experiences in 2026. Whether you’re a foodie, a music lover, a fan of Disney Jr., or a Halloween enthusiast, there’s something to celebrate every season. With events ranging from the Lunar New Year and the Food & Wine Festival to Halloween Time and Holiday cheer, Disney is giving us even more reasons to plan a visit and make unforgettable memories throughout the year.

Kicking Off the Year: Lunar New Year & Celebrate Gospel
The year begins with Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure (running from January 23rd–February 22nd), honoring Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. During the festival, you can meet Horace Horsecollar and see Mickey and Minnie in Korean-inspired outfits, while new character costumes represent Vietnamese and Chinese attire. Fans of Pixar’s Turning Red will also have the chance to meet a special character from the film.

Sip and Savor Pass 2025
February also brings the Celebrate Gospel concert series (running on February 20th–21st and 27th–28th), moving to Downtown Disney in 2026. Concert goers can enjoy uplifting performances from Southern California community choirs, with headlining talent Hezekiah Walker on February 21st and Yolanda Adams on February 28th.

For sports fans, Anaheim Ducks Day (happening on February 22nd) returns to Disney California Adventure for a one-day event featuring player appearances, hockey-themed activities, photo opportunities, and fan-favorite entertainment.
Food, Music, and Community Celebrations
Spring at Disneyland brings the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (running from March 6th–April 27th), celebrating the culinary bounty of California. Festival attendees can enjoy limited-time food and beverage offerings, culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars, and family-friendly entertainment that make this festival a feast for all the senses.

There’s a lot going on!
In June, Disney On the Yard — Yardfest, powered by Celebrate Soulfully (happening on June 19th), returns for its second year in the Downtown Disney District. This celebration of historically Black colleges and universities features drum majors, Drum Major Mickey Mouse, a lively drumline, and a festive showcase of music, culture, and tradition.
Summer & Fall Highlights
August kicks off with D23 Day at Disneyland (happening on August 13th), giving visitors a preview of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event with magical surprises, themed moments, and fan-favorite experiences. At the same time, Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party (running from August 13th–16th) returns for a family-friendly event at Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney, featuring Disney Jr. characters, live entertainment, interactive activities, and photo opportunities for young fans.

D23 Day (2024)
Halloween enthusiasts can look forward to Halloween Time at Disneyland (running from August 21st–October 31st), where the parks transform with pumpkin-filled décor, seasonal attractions, and family-friendly entertainment…

Plaza de la Familia
…and you can also celebrate cultural traditions at Plaza de la Familia (running from August 21st–November 2nd), honoring Día de Los Muertos with experiences inspired by Pixar’s Coco.
Ending the Year with Holiday Magic
Disneyland will close out the year with Holidays at Disneyland (beginning November 18th), inviting you to celebrate diverse holiday traditions with enchanting décor, festive entertainment, and delicious seasonal treats. This seasonal celebration includes Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure, adding even more fun and flavor to the winter season.
