We’re heading into one of the busiest seasons of the year in Disney World. The holiday season is a great time to visit the parks, what with all the holiday decor, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. However, this time can also be very crowded, especially when you get closer to Christmas Day.
Well, ahead of Christmas Day, on December 20th, we spotted some of the highest Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices we’ve seen all year, which is a good indication that Disney World is expecting some good crowds on that day.
On December 20th, the price for Lightning Lane Multi Pass in Magic Kingdom is a whopping $42, which is up from the previous day, December 19th, which is at $35. This is one of the highest prices we’ve seen for the service that lets you skip the standby lines in Disney World, and it is the highest price we’ve seen this year. However, Lightning Lane Multi Pass prices aren’t deviating a lot during that time for the other three parks:
- $35 for EPCOT
- $35 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- $29 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Lightning Lane Premium Pass in Magic Kingdom also jumps up on that day from $399 on December 19th to $429 on December 20th. However, again, prices for the service of the other parks remain about the same around that time:
- $239 for EPCOT
- $339 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- $189 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Lightning Lane Single Pass prices are also pretty steady during that time. Here’s what they’ll be on December 20th:
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $17
- TRON Lightcycle / Run: $22
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $21
- Rise of the Resistance: $24
- Flight of Passage: $18
Interestingly enough, the cost of Lightning Lane Multi Pass goes down for Magic Kingdom on December 21st to $37. So it looks like, right now, December 20th may be one of the busiest days in Disney World all year (although we haven’t yet seen prices for Christmas Day, which could be even higher).
We’ll keep an eye on Lightning Lane prices and keep you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
