This year’s Festival includes FOUR new ‘additional locations’ serving up some new eats and drinks, AND the return of Sunshine Seasons as a bonus spot!

The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re checking out some new Festival additions along with Sunshine Seasons.

Block & Hans joins the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays lineup with Cinnamon-glazed Nuts, and an Apple Pie Frozen Slush drink!

Regal Eagle Smokehouse joins the Festival with a Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog.

Over at Fife & Drum, a new Apple Pie Sundae is on the menu for the festival!

Sommerfest is also new for this year and is serving up a Warm Apfel Cider with Jägermeister liqueur.

And finally, Sunshine Seasons is serving up the Peanut Butter Cookie featuring M&M’S Minis Milk Chocolate Candies Holiday Blend, and a NEW Cookie Milk Shake.

So let’s get to it!

Eats

While you’ll find a whole Holiday Kitchen dedicated to glazed nuts this year, you can also grab some Cinnamon Glazed Nuts at Block & Hans for $5.99. This is an exclusive recipe that’s made in-house, but they taste like the standard cinnamon glazed nuts you can find all over Disney World, although we also tasted a hint of vanilla. You get that nice crust on the nuts from the sugar and cinnamon, and the pecans are soft and delicious.

We stopped by Fife & Drum to check out the new Apple Pie Sundae made with apple pie filling, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce, topped with streusel for $6.79. We heard a lot of folks rave about this, and it was okay, but it didn’t blow us away. The apple pie tasted like the canned apple pie filling, so it’s trying to be apple pie, but it’s just not really working. There’s no extra flavor to it, although the apples were soft, juicy, and tasty. We think it might’ve needed more cinnamon.

The Peanut Butter Cookie featuring M&M’S Minis Milk Chocolate Candies Holiday Blend at Sunshine Seasons returns from 2024. You can snag this year’s cookie for $4.79.

Last year, we found this to be a really good cookie. It’s also HUGE, so you can take a few bites, box it up, and take it back to your hotel room for later. Flavor-wise, it’s so buttery with lots of peanut butter flavor (but not TOO much).

Drinks

In addition to roasted nuts, Block & Hans is also serving up an Apple Pie Frozen Slush made with Frozen Minute Maid Apple Juice with cinnamon syrup topped with cinnamon and sugar for $6.79. If you want to make it boozy you can add apple pie moonshine for $17.50. This was delicious, but we thought it was more like a frozen mulled cider, rather than an apple pie. The addition of cinnamon syrup and cinnamon sprinkled on top gives it a holiday vibe.

The NEW shake at Sunshine Seasons is a non-boozy Cookie Milk Shake made with Spiced gelato with whipped cream, a cookie wreath, Mickey-shaped holly, and sprinkles, and is priced at $9.49. This is one of the prettiest milkshakes we’ve seen, but…well, the flavor didn’t match up to what we imagined. The shake itself tasted more like eggnog because there are some spices in there that are eggnog-ish. But it doesn’t pull off those flavors.

The gingerbread cookie, though, was tasty, and we almost think the flavors of the shake should’ve matched it. If you want a pretty Insta photo, get this. If you want something that’s tasty, maybe you should opt for something else.

Sommerfest is serving up the new Warm Apfel Cider with Jägermeister liqueur garnished with an orange wedge — and you can snag this one for $15.50. The first thing we noticed is that you can barely taste the alcohol, so it’s very easy to drink. The cider itself, though, is very thin, and we wished it had more girth to it, as well as some spices. It is served warm, so it’s a comforting drink on those cooler days. But we wouldn’t go out of our way to order this again.

And finally, over at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, we checked out the new Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog with gingerbread syrup topped with nutmeg. This is served non-boozy, but you can add Thomas Tew Single Barrel Rum to make it boozy! Our reporter had never had eggnog before, and really liked how the gingerbread paired with it. The gingerbread flavor is present, but it’s not overwhelming.

We also loved that the drink is frozen, but it was also very smooth. If you like eggnog and gingerbread, give it a try!
