If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, there’s a lot to think about. You’ll need to figure out how long you’re staying, as well as where you’re staying. You’ll need to know which tickets you need, as well as a general idea of where you want to eat (okay, that last part is the MOST important part, in our opinion).

However, you’ll also need to make sure you keep an eye on park hours because sometimes parks might have hours that would interfere with your day. Well, we’ve got one such date to tell you about, and it might be a good day to skip visiting Magic Kingdom.

If you have plans to visit Magic Kingdom on January 27th, you may want to change those plans because the park will be closing early, at 4:30 PM. That means you’ll have less time in that park on that day, and unless you have a park hopper option added to your ticket, your park day will end earlier than you may want it to.

Disney has not yet confirmed why the park is closing early, but this is about the time of the year when Disney hosts an annual event for Cast Members, so that’s our best guess. However, it’s just important to know that Magic Kingdom will close the park to regular guests early that day. This also means you’ll miss out on the Magic Kingdom fireworks, so if those are a priority, be sure to plan your Magic Kingdom visit on a different day.

Disney World’s other theme parks are showing their regular hours for that day, so you should be able to visit those without a problem.
