If there’s one thing that keeps us coming back to Disney World again and again (aside from the rides, the nostalgia, and the magic), it’s the SNACKS.
Disney World loves to put out new snacks, and we love to do the hard work of taste-testing them for you (you’re welcome). We give you our honest opinions and who we think would love the item or who could skip it, so that you are spending your money in the right way! From sweet to savory, these are the top 10 snacks you absolutely have to try in 2026.
1. The Chicken Tender Tour
In October, Disney released THIRTEEN new chicken strips! We love that you can try them all like a scavenger hunt or find ones with the flavor profile you love. Here is the full list:
- Honey Buffalo Chicken Strips with Ranch (Backlot Express)
- Sweet Chili Aïoli Chicken Strips (World Premiere Food Court, Landscape of Flavors, Centertown Market, Spyglass Grill, The Artist’s Palette, Roaring Fork, Typhoon Tilly’s, and Wind & Waves Market)
- Waffle Cone Chicken Strips (Beaches Pool Bar and Restaurantosaurus)
- Buffalo Chicken Strips (Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café)
- Lemon Pepper-Parmesan Chicken Strips (Pinocchio Village Haus)
- Gochujang-glazed Chicken Strips (Capt. Cook’s and Everything POP Shopping & Dining)
- Jerk BBQ Chicken Strips with Pineapple Salsa (End Zone Food Court, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, Riverside Mill Food Court, Gasparilla Island Grill, and The Mara)
- Roasted Jalapeño-Cheddar Chicken Strips (Good’s Food to Go and Trail’s End Restaurant)
- Spicy Ranch Chicken Strips (Contempo Café)
- Citrus-glazed Chicken Strips (Primo Piatto)
- Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strips (Lottawatta Lodge in 2026, Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill, and Intermission Food Court)
- Seaside Chicken Strips (Columbia Harbour House)

Waffle Cone Chicken Strips
We really loved the Seaside Chicken Strips at Columbia Harbour House for $12.99. These are topped with a seasoned aioli, crushed pretzels, and crispy garlic, and y’all, don’t knock pretzels and chicken tenders together. You can taste all of the spices in the aioli without it being spicy, and the crispy pretzels add a beautiful crunch and a punch of salt. We loved the salt and how the crispy garlic added a deeper depth of flavor without making each bite overwhelmingly garlicy.

Seaside Chicken Strips
We also had the Buffalo Chicken Strips at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for $12.99. These are coated in buffalo sauce and topped with ranch seasoning. The sauce wasn’t too spicy; instead, it came at the end of each bite as a kick, allowing you to taste the sauce without your tongue burning off. There wasn’t a ton of ranch seasoning on top to cool it down, so we could have used more or had a side of ranch, but these had great classic flavor, and you’ll have those traditional orange fingers at the end.

2. Unique Premium Mickey Bars
Disney has also released unique Mickey ice cream bars throughout the Disney parks and resorts. Check out the full list:
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Sprinkles at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, Ice Cold Hydraulics, and Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Mickey-shaped Sprinkles at Centertown Market
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Minis at End Zone Food Court
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Salted Caramel Pearls at Everything POP Shopping & Dining and Riverside Mill Food Court
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with SKITTLES® POP’d Original Freeze Dried Candy at Gasparilla Island Grill, Landscape of Flavors, Happy Landings Ice Cream, and Anandapur Ice Cream Truck
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Crunchy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Bar Pieces at Intermission Food Court
- Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Chopped Peanut Butter Cups at Trail’s End Restaurant
We went over to Disney’s Pop Century Resort to find the Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Salted Caramel Pearls at Everything POP Shopping and Dining for $7.79.
This one totally blew us away! The crispy popping pearls gave it even more of a crunch, and that salted caramel flavor was divine. It was dipped in a birthday cake-flavored icing, which paired wonderfully with the vanilla ice cream. Our only complaint was that it was just a little hard to bite through, but we’d still say it’s our second favorite of the new ice creams released.

We also headed over to Fort Wilderness Resort to check out the Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Chopped Peanut Butter Cups for $7.99 at Trail’s End. This one is easily our favorite new addition to the Mickey Ice Cream bar family! While it did melt fast (so grab those napkins), the birthday cake icing paired incredibly well with the Reece’s peanut butter cup pieces. The peanut butter also added another layer of creaminess to this treat, enhancing it even more than we ever thought possible. If you’re a fan of peanut butter and chocolate, this is 100% a must-grab!

3. Peanut Butter Pie
You know how much we love a Disney cupcake, but this dessert has stolen our hearts. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Pie Cup at The Cake Bake Shop at the BoardWalk is stealing the show at $15. This slice of heaven features a creamy peanut butter mousse layered on a chocolate cookie crust, topped with rich ganache and a sprinkle of sea salt. It’s indulgent, elegant, and exactly what peanut butter lovers want in a sweet treat.
It’s sweet but balanced, with a restaurant-level presentation that makes it feel extra special. Pair it with one of Cake Bake’s seasonal drinks or afternoon teas for a perfect mid-day treat. This pie was made with a Callebaut Belgian chocolate cookie crust filled with a creamy peanut butter mousse. It’s topped with a chocolate ganache and freshly roasted chopped peanuts. It reminded us of a big version of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup but with way more filling, and we’re obsessed!

4. Buffalo Chicken Chips
Buffalo chicken lovers, this one’s for you. The Buffalo Chicken Chips for $10.49, which will be found at Eight Spoon Café in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, are a crave-worthy twist on nachos. They feature house-made chips loaded with pulled buffalo chicken, arugula, celery, diced tomatoes, and a generous drizzle of bleu cheese dressing. What makes these so good is the flavor balance. They are “Disney” spicy, creamy, crunchy, and fresh. It’s the kind of snack that can double as a meal, and it’s great for sharing (though you may not want to).
It’s worth noting these changed a bit when they moved from DinoLand to Eight Spoon, but we still think they are worth grabbing!
5. The BEST Churros
These are not the same churros you can find at the snack carts, which we honestly aren’t fans of. The churros for $10 at Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom are soft, buttery, and perfectly spiced, with a light, crisp exterior and fluffy inside. But the real showstopper? The two dipping sauces that come with them: one vanilla crema and one seasonal mystery flavor that changes throughout the year.

Look at these Churros!
We’ve seen everything from strawberry to caramel-coffee sauces, and each one feels like a little surprise. Pair these churros with a cocktail from Nomad’s adventurous drink menu, and you’ve got yourself a relaxing afternoon treat that feels elevated and indulgent.

6. Carrot Cake Cookie
The Carrot Cake Cookie for $5.70 from Trolley Car Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a Disney Food Blog legend and for good reason. This snack is two thick, spiced carrot cake cookies sandwiching a rich cream cheese frosting that’s not overly sweet but perfectly tangy. It’s the ideal blend of soft, chewy, and creamy textures. It’s filling enough to split, but light enough that you won’t feel weighed down. Grab one in the morning with a cold brew from Starbucks, and you’ve got the perfect start to your day at Hollywood Studios.

7. Sleepy Hollow Waffles
Over in Liberty Square, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is still serving up some of the most iconic snacks in Disney World: the Loaded Waffles. These golden, crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside waffles come topped with everything from Nutella and fruit to sweet and spicy chicken. The fruit-and-hazelnut version is perfect for breakfast lovers, while the chicken waffle is a must for those who prefer savory with a kick. These are classic Disney eats: fun, filling, and photo-ready, all in one bite.
8. Bacon. Pecan. Caramel. Cinnamon Roll
Yes, you read that right — Bacon Pecan Caramel Cinnamon Roll for $8.49. This Mickey-shaped masterpiece from Westward Ho is everything your sweet tooth dreams of. It’s ooey-gooey, buttery, and just a little salty from the crispy bacon crumbles on top. This pastry is big enough to share, but you might not want to. It’s one of those over-the-top Disney snacks that hits every flavor note: sweet, savory, sticky, and oh-so-satisfying. Pro tip: Grab it early in the day before they sell out.
9. School Bread
The School Bread for $5.49 from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion is a classic with its light cardamom bun filled with vanilla custard and topped with coconut. It’s been a longtime fan favorite, and it’s not going anywhere in 2026. This year, though, there’s a new companion drink: the School Bread Cold Brew. It’s sweet, creamy, and the perfect pairing for your pastry. Together, they make a snack combo worth traveling the World Showcase for.

10. Pretzel Nuggets with Beer Cheese
Rounding out the list are the Pretzel Nuggets with Beer Cheese from Block & Hans in EPCOT’s American Adventure Pavilion. These buttery nuggets are tossed in garlic butter and barbecue rub, then served with a creamy, rich beer cheese sauce. They’re soft, chewy, and packed with flavor. Think of it kind of like a fancy Auntie Anne’s pretzel with a smoky twist. For $8.79, they’re one of the best-value savory snacks in EPCOT and pair perfectly with a cold craft beer from the same stand.
