REVIEW: The New Disney Holiday Treats That'll Confuse Your Taste Buds But Slay Your Instagram Feed

We are so excited to be checking out Jollywood Nights tonight, and there is so much entertainment to enjoy, decorations to admire, characters to meet, and of course, food to eat. We are here to let you know which snacks are worth your precious time and money at this year’s party, and this snack is one we couldn’t stop talking about since it was announced!

While we love coming to holiday parties for the characters and the snacks, let’s be honest, we are all about the food! Hey, it’s our name! Can you blame us? So when we heard two of our favorite things, we’re coming together to be snacks at Jollywood Nights, Muppets and Ice Cream, we knew we had to try it! Let’s see how it stacks up.

Over at Hollywood Scoops is where you can find these two Muppets-treats! First, we grabbed Miss Piggy Strawberry Glam for $9.79. This has Strawberry Boba Pearls and Strawberry Cheesecake topped with Chocolate Pearls, Strawberry Ice Cream, and Pink M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies. This is also served in a souvenir cup!

Our first thought when trying this is that the combination of ice cream and cheesecake was a little jarring. Once they melt together, it’s difficult to tell what you’ve got a spoonful of until you taste it, and we were surprised a few different times. The ice cream and cheesecake are both decent quality though, and had strong flavors. The M&Ms added a fun texture with some chocolatey crunch, but the boba was a little strange at the end.

Next, we had to see how the Kermit Mint Whirl for $9.79 tasted. This is Green Apple Boba Pearls and White Chocolate Cheesecake topped with Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and Green M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies. It is also served in a souvenir cup.

While the Miss Piggy version of this treat was fairly cohesive with strawberry flavors, the Kermit one is bizarre! The ice cream is mint flavored, but the boba pearls are green apple, and those two flavors DO NOT mesh well. Ultimately, it seems like they went more for style over substance with these treats.
