You’re Going To LOVE This New Change to the Disneyland App

If you’re a Disneyland Magic Key user who has previously tried to upgrade your Magic Key to a higher tier, you’ve probably been frustrated by the process because it requires you to physically go to Disneyland, visit a ticket booth, and do it in person. Well, that ends today.

Disneyland has FINALLY added the ability to upgrade a Magic Key pass online on the Disneyland website or Disneyland app. So your upgrade process just got a lot easier, no trip to the parks required.

Magic Key is Disneyland’s version of the Annual Pass. Previously, if you wanted to upgrade from a lower-tier Magic Key to a higher tier, you had to do it in person. But according to Scott Gustin on Twitter, you can now do that on the Disneyland website or app.

NEW: Disneyland Resort has added the ability to upgrade your Magic Key online or in the app. Previously, upgrades required visiting a ticket booth.

You’ll want to keep that in mind, too, because as of right now, the Inspire and Believe Keys are still available for sale, so now might be a great time to upgrade.

Note that Magic Key sales for the Inspire and Believe Keys recently got hit with price increases. Here’s what you’ll pay for those tiers:

Inspire Key: $1,899
Believe Key: $1,474
Enchant Key: $974
Imagine Key: $599

Note that the Enchant and Imagine Keys are only available for renewal for the time being.
