Haunted weddings just got real aboard Disney’s newest cruise ship.

Disney Cruise Line is getting ready to welcome its newest ship, the Disney Destiny, to the fleet very soon! While there’s already so much you can do, see, and experience while onboard these ships for a fabulous cruise, Disney’s looking to make a certain special occasion even more “spirited.” If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to get married during one of these cruises, very soon you’ll have another hauntingly grim venue to choose from!
If you’ve ever dreamed of saying “I do” somewhere a little spooky, a little whimsical, and totally Disney — your ghostly wishes just came true.

The Donald Duck Chair!
Disney Cruise Line just revealed a brand-new wedding venue that’s straight out of the afterlife: the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the upcoming Disney Destiny. This brand-new ship, setting sail later this year, will feature an exclusive space inspired by one of the most beloved (and delightfully eerie) attractions in Disney Parks history, the Haunted Mansion. There’s also a similar lounge found onboard the Disney Treasure.

It looks just like the ride!
This parlor isn’t your typical cruise lounge. Picture an elegant drawing room aboard a classic ocean liner, filled with mysterious details, haunted portraits, and even a few familiar ghostly faces. Yes, the hitchhiking ghosts are making an appearance — this time, in an ornate mirror that’s perfect for those who aren’t afraid of a little spectral photobombing.

Haunted Mansion Parlor bar
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will serve as an intimate wedding venue for up to 25 guests, including the couple, making it an ideal choice for small destination weddings or vow renewals. Each ceremony includes an officiant, floral arrangements, and a post-ceremony cake-and-champagne celebration held in another uniquely themed location onboard. And because it’s all part of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, couples can expect that signature Disney touch like seamless planning, personalized details, and storytelling woven into every element.

Outside the ceremony, your entire wedding party can enjoy all the magic that comes with a Disney Cruise. Think imaginative dining, Broadway-style entertainment, incredible kids’ clubs, adult-exclusive escapes, and of course, Disney’s trademark service that makes every guest feel like royalty.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor as a wedding venue will be available exclusively on the Disney Destiny sailings beginning with its May 14th, 2026 voyage out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to combine your love of Disney, cruising, and a little bit of ghostly charm — this is it.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings has given couples the chance to tie the knot in storybook settings. With over 100 venues worldwide (from Disney’s castles and resorts in California and Florida, to Aulani in Hawaii, Disney Castaway Cay in The Bahamas, and now all seven Disney Cruise Line ships), there’s truly something for every type of fairytale ending. And now, for those whose love story leans more toward the “’til death (and beyond) do us part” kind of romance, Disney has created a hauntingly perfect wedding venue.
