REVIEW: I Never Thought I’d Recommend Pizza in Disneyland Paris, But Here We Are

In case you missed it, we recently got a chance to visit Disneyland Paris.

That also means we got to try some brand new snacks (well, new to us), including The Lion King-themed Glace Magnum Le Roi Lion, an absolutely perfect Mickey treat, and the cutest Groot cookie we think we’ve ever seen. We also got a chance to grab a heftier snack at Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant in Disneyland Paris, so we’re going to fill you in on what we thought.

You’ll find Colonel Hathi’s Outpost in Adventureland…and if you don’t remember who Colonel Hathi is, he’s from The Jungle Book! We got the Pepperoni Pizza for 17 Euros, and yes, we specifically ordered it because IT’S SHAPED LIKE MICKEY. Now we’ll warn you now…we’re totally biased when it comes to Mickey-shaped food. Sure, it’s just a pepperoni pizza, but we really enjoyed it.

The crust was more of a thin crust, although it wasn’t crunchy. Instead, it kinda’ had that nice doughy (not like raw, but soft) kind of crust that’s a joy to bite into. There was also the perfect amount of crust for the toppings. The cheese was VERY cheesy, and the little pepperonis were fun. It’s also perfectly shareable (it’s a pretty good size).

Even better? You can get little packets of chili oil to put on top, which gives it a bit of a kick. How much fun is that? So if you’re wanting some American comfort food in Disneyland Paris, and pizza sounds about right, drop by Colonel Hathi’s and get yourself a Mickey pizza.
