We know that picking the right stroller for the parks can be stressful. Should you bring the one you already have at home? Do you need to snag a new one? Will a little travel stroller do? Well, there’s no need to panic — we’re here to help. We have a team of parents who have been to Disney World over and over again. That means we have a ton of insider knowledge on the best strollers for the parks! So, let’s get into it!
Disney’s Stroller Policy
Disney allows guests to bring their own strollers, but there are size and type restrictions. Strollers must be no larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long. Wagons and stroller wagons are not allowed, even if they are pushed like a stroller. Your stroller must be able to fold easily—especially important when boarding trams, buses, or boats.

Stroller parking is required in designated areas, and Cast Members may move your stroller to keep walkways clear, so it’s helpful to label yours with a tag or ribbon for easy identification. If you don’t want to bring one, strollers can be rented inside the parks or from third-party vendors like Kingdom Strollers or Buena Vista Strollers near Disney World.

What to Look for in a Travel Stroller (Especially for Disney)
When choosing a travel stroller, these features make a big difference in usability at a theme park:

Disney also requires that strollers be folded when boarding trams, buses, and some ferries. Some modes (like the Skyliner) might not require folding for single strollers, but double ones may need to fold.

Baby Jogger City Mini GT2

The Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 is a premium and versatile stroller. It has a good bit of storage and all-terrain tires. The handlebar adjusts, and this is a great one to grow with your family. You can add a glider board, which is a lot of fun. It’s also very easy to fold down!
The cons are that it’s a bit heavier and bulkier than an ultra compact stroller — so it will be kind of heavy when you’re folding it and transporting it in and out of the bus, Skyliner, or even the train.
Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller 2.0

The Mockingbird is another one that is super versatile. Personally, this is the stroller that I take to Disney World. I love that the seat easily reclines and the wheels have a really good turn radius. There are so many different ways for this stroller to be arranged. Your little can face you, they can face out. You can add a little stroller or another seat if you have 2 kiddos.
Like the stroller above, this is a BIG stroller. So yes, it has a lot of storage, but it is also heavy and large when folded. The other issue is that there will be a LOT of these strollers in the parks, so you are going to want to make sure yours is marked well so it doesn’t get confused with another.

This stroller is a bit more expensive than the others, but it comes with a LOT of accessories that are useful in Disney World, like the rain shield and the storage bag. This stroller also handles rough paths well, folds easily, and is a good all-terrain choice.
Munchkin Sparrow Ultra‑Compact Travel Stroller

The Munchkin Sparrow folds super small, like small enough to be a carry-on! This stroller is also lightweight; ideal for flights or squeezing into tight spaces. There is still a good amount of storage, and it will fold up to be pretty small!
The con is that on rough park surfaces, the ride may be a bit more jostly.
Britax Juniper Compact Stroller

This is another stroller that folds up really small! It’s compact, easier to maneuver, and fits tighter spaces. The con is that since this is smaller, there’s not a lot of storage.

A stroller name tag is the easiest way to keep track of your stroller. Just tie it to the back of your stroller, and you’ll easily be able to pick it out of the crowd since it literally has your name on it!
