The day we dread every year has finally arrived. Every year, around this time, we get a SLEW of price increases for Disney World, and well, here we are.
We’ve already told you about a ton of price increases on food and drinks, as well as price increases for tickets and Annual Passes, but we’ve got another price hike to tell you about. If you plan on driving to Disney World, parking is going to cost you more at the theme parks.
If you’ll be driving to Disney World theme parks, regular self-parking has now increased from $30 to $35. If you drive an oversized vehicle, the parking fee has gone up from $35 to $40. If you want to get a guaranteed spot that’s closer to the theme park entrance (or in Magic Kingdom’s case, closer to the Monorail), you’ll pay $50 to $60 per day, depending on the day, up from a set price of $45.
Note that if you pay for parking at one park, that is good for the entire day, even if you drive to another theme park. If you’re a Disney World hotel guest who still wants to pay for preferred parking, you’ll only have to pay by paying the difference in cost between the included standard parking and preferred parking.
Of course, if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel or you’re a select Annual Passholder, parking is still free if you want to drive from the hotel to the theme parks. However, you also have the choice of using Disney World’s expansive transportation system to travel to and from the parks from your hotel.
However, if you’re staying elsewhere, you’ll have to pay for parking at the parks, so you’ll want to keep that in mind if you plan on driving.

You ask what we think!!?? How greedy can theme parks and resorts get!!?? They charge admission for your car that just sits there all day?? No incentive for locals to go or any guest who drives, not flies….seems that every resort and theme park in Central Florida also does this. Absolutely Ridiculous!!!! A Complete Turn-off!!!!
Exactly, Anne! Tickets more expensive. Parking more expensive. Hotels more expensive. Food more expensive. Tours more expensive. Events more expensive. Shopping more expensive. Lightning lane more expensive. Drinks more expensive. A week in Europe is significantly cheaper than a week at WDW! No wonder attendance is down.
