Okay, this one is for you Floridians, or anyone who may want to travel from Tampa next year.
If you have plans to use Tampa International Airport, you may want to know some brand new nonstop flights that are coming to the airport next year. These flights come courtesy budget airline Breeze Airways, and they’re to Jamaica! So if you’re looking for a beach vacation to the beautiful island of Jamaica, this could be the universe’s sign telling you to GO!
Tampa International Airport just announced new nonstop flights from Tampa Bay to Montego Bay, Jamaica, which will be the first international destination offered by Breeze at this airport. The new route will be seasonal and will start on February 11th, 2026. So if you’re tired of the dreary winter, you can head to a more sunshine-oriented destination!
Note that the route is still pending final government approvals, so it’s not 100% set in stone yet, but it’s likely to be approved. This route will be the 30th destination that Breeze currently offers at the Tampa International Airport.
“We are thrilled to not only be a partner in Breeze Airways’ growth since its 2021 inaugural flight at TPA, but to be among its first airports to offer international service,” Tampa International Airport CEO Michael Stephens said. “Thanks to Breeze, Tampa Bay area travelers will soon have quick and convenient access to the vibrant culture and amazing beaches in Montego Bay, Jamaica, one of the world’s top vacation destinations. We look forward to continuing to support Breeze as it expands its reach and serves TPA’s passengers with sought-after flights at low-cost fares.”
Breeze Airways offers passengers a wide variety of amenities, including a first class-like premium section, free family seating, onboard Wi-Fi, preferred seat options, and no change or cancel fees. If you’d like to book a flight to Jamaica now, you can grab a fare as low as $99 each way on Breeze’s website.
