Big news for McDonald’s fans — one of our favorite games is returning to the fast food chain soon!

The restaurant recently announced the addition of new menu items, a sweepstakes to win a trip to Epic Universe, and we keep up with all the latest Happy Meal toys, since we know a lot of you are big fans of the fast food chain. Now, if you adore Monopoly as much as we do, the two are combining once again to create an epic game!
For the first time in nearly a whole decade, Monopoly returns to McDonald’s on October 6th! For a limited time, fans can play this exciting game again, “with new twists like digital game pieces when ordering select items using the app alongside the classic game pieces customers know and love on select menu items,” according to McDonald’s website.

To play this thrilling game, order your favorites from the MONOPOLY at McDonald’s menu, then peel and play. The app will track and collect your property pieces and redeem any prizes you win, such as dream vacations, a new ride, and so much more. Each play also gets you a Bonus Play, which is a second chance to win in the app. Make sure you’ve downloaded the app, opt in to Rewards and register for the game (you can pre-register for the game between September 29th and October 5th and get an extra 500 MyMcDonald’s Rewards points). Some items on the menu will get you a physical game piece, which you’ll peel from packaging then scan in the app to reveal your prize or collect the digital piece, while the digital pieces from the beginning, you’ll “peel” it in the app to see if you’re an instant winner or to collect your digital property piece.

There are over 30 menu items available to use to play, and some of the prizes available are:
- 1 million American Airlines AAdvantage® miles
- A $50,000 Vacation to a MONOPOLY GO! Location
- A $10,000 Lowe’s Shopping Spree
- A 2026 Jeep® Grand Cherokee Limited
- Exclusive experiences from The Coca-Cola Company
- $1 Million Cash!
- Lots of free food prizes are also available, as well as MyMcDonald’s Rewards points to use towards free food
