We stopped by Scat Cat’s Club Cafe at Port Orleans French Quarter to try the Gluten-Free Beignets. For $7.99, you get three warm, pillowy beignets covered in powdered sugar — what’s not to love?

Gluten-Free Beignets

We were pleasantly surprised by these! While they didn’t taste like traditional beignets, they were definitely beignet-like. They tasted more like funnel cake to us than the flavor we’re used to with non-gluten-free beignets, but to us, they were still better than the beignets at Magic Kingdom. There was a really good balance of crisp on the outside, with soft and doughy on the inside.

You would not be able to tell these were gluten-free if you didn’t already know!

Warm pillows of deliciousness

They load them up with powdered sugar, but they’re just not gonna have that puffy dough texture from regular beignets. Definitely one of the better gluten-free desserts available at Disney World!
