A Popular Hollywood Studios Experience Is Changing on October 12th

More changes are coming to Hollywood Studios!

Over in Galaxy’s Edge, a popular experience is getting a limited-time change, and we are too excited! If you’re a Star Wars fan, grab your lightsabers and let’s head to Savi’s Workshop to see what guests can expect starting next month.

In case you didn’t know, over in Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park, you can find Savi’s Workshop. At Savi’s, Gatherers teach you how to hand-build your own Lightsaber, which is a lifelong dream for many Star Wars fans!

Savi’s Workshop

During the experience, you get to choose one of the available hilt themes and receive a cloisonné pin before building your lightsaber. There are several themes to choose from, but beginning on October 12th, the “Reclaimed and Reforged” storyline is returning for a limited time!

On their website, Disney has shared that “over the centuries, countless lightsabers fell into the hands of smugglers and bounty hunters.” Remnants and scraps of those have been collected around the galaxy, and now, you can use them to build “elegant tools that symbolize balance in The Force.” During your experience at Savi’s, you can choose:

1 hilt
4 sleeves (pick 2)
2 emitters (pick 1)
2 pommel caps (pick 1)
2 sets of activation plates and switches (pick 1 set)

The elements that are part of the Reclaimed and Reforged will be around while supplies last, and it will give fans a chance to have an even more rare piece of Star Wars memorabilia. In addition to these limited-time changes, different themes include Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, and Protection and Defense.

Elemental Nature

Inside the workshop, lightsaber pieces, kyber crystals, and tales of the Force and the Jedi told by the Gatherers will provide the tools you need. This popular experience requires reservations and costs a pretty penny in both parks. In Hollywood Studios, it costs you $249.99 (plus tax) for a lightsaber with a carrying case.
