Disney moms know what they’re doing, even when they worry they’re not doing enough. As a mom, you pack everything you can possibly think of for your Disney World trip and still worry you’ve forgotten something.
But if there’s one thing you need to remember to pack, it’s one of these items (depending on your kiddo’s age)! Trust us, these will be lifesavers while you’re standing in the wildly long lines at Magic Kingdom or any of the other parks!
Get the Bitzee for Older Kids
The Bitzee is a fun little device that your older kids can carry with them through the long lines. It can help them pass the time, instead of getting upset waiting for 60 minutes or more for a ride.
Kids aged 5 to 7 years old are becoming familiar with and enjoying the Disney Bitzee. It’s a simple yet fun device that lets you interact and play with 30 different Disney characters. It takes a little bit to get the hang of it, but once you do, it can help pass the time by playing games with the different characters.
Sometimes you watch little videos of the characters, sometimes you help the characters, and once in a while you’ll be helping one character when another drops in to say they need help. It keeps your attention with each of these different experiences.
The only downside we found is that the directions that come with it are a little too basic, and it was challenging to figure out at first. But once we got the hang of it, it was enjoyed by all. One of our team members’ kids really enjoyed playing with it!
The Bitzee is very small and light, so it could easily fit in a pocket or a park bag to help with line boredom. If you’re going to pack anything to help your kids get through the tedious lines, this is it.
Or, You Can Grab This Travel Busy Book for Toddlers
If you have little kids aged 1 to 3 years old, the Bitzee won’t be a great option. Instead, we suggest grabbing a travel busy book! This is also small and lightweight, and it has LOTS of fun and developmentally appropriate activities for your littles to enjoy while waiting in long lines. Peter Pan’s Flight usually has one of the longest lines in Disney World, so you’ll thank us later when your toddler is busy playing with their busy book.
