The release of “Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks” has been delayed until November 17th, 2025. This three-episode docuseries offers a behind-the-scenes look at Universal’s theme parks, including the new Epic Universe theme park, which opened on May 22nd, 2025.

This is the third time the docuseries’ release date has been postponed. Originally, it was set to release in July, but it was pushed back to September. It is now being postponed until November.

The “Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks” will eventually be released on Peacock. It will explore the “history and legacy of Universal Destinations and Experiences.” Throughout the three episodes, viewers will learn about Universal’s film and theme park history through “rare archival and intimate interviews with directors, producers, executives, and A-list celebrities.” It will also provide a behind-the-scenes look at the opening of Universal Epic Universe.

Epic Universe

The series will include interviews with Steven Spielberg, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, Donna Langley, and many more. There will also be first-hand accounts from Universal’s “greatest creative minds.” You can view a trailer of the show right now to get a taste of what is to come.
