3 Disney Rides Took Top Spots for the Best in Orange County — Did Your Favorite Make the List?

The Orange County Register has released its Best of Orange County 2025 list, and it probably comes as no surprise that Disneyland took the top spots for Best Amusement Park Ride.

This is not the first time that the House of Mouse has been the leader of the top three spots — but which rides beat out the rest?

Disneyland has taken all three top spots in the Best Amusement Park Ride category for the Best of Orange County 2025, and the rides probably aren’t all that shocking, either. Taking the crown as the Best Amusement Park Ride in Orange County is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park. The ride opened in Galaxy’s Edge in 2019 and has been one of the most popular rides at the park ever since.

Taking spot number two is the ever-iconic and classic Space Mountain. While it’s not an original park attraction, it has been around since 1977 and remains one of the most popular rides in the park with consistently longer lines than many other attractions.

And finally, the number three amusement park ride in Orange County for 2025 is Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout! at Disney California Adventure. This is the first time this ride has been on this list since it first debuted in 2017. It replaced the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and is now the anchor of the Avengers Campus land at the park.

Mission: Breakout! won out over past favorites like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones Adventure, Soarin’ Around the World, Incredicoaster, and Radiator Springs Racers, which have all been featured in the Best of Orange County list over the past ten years.
