An Important CHANGE Is Debuting at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays This Year

Oh, hi, we’re just here enjoying Halloween and the whole fall season in Disney World, while also looking ahead to the holidays. So yes, happy Hallowthanksmas. But, hey, it’s time to start planning those holiday trips anyway, right? There’s so much to look forward to, including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. Oh, and the FOOD…we’re always here for the holiday treats.

We also LOVE the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, but this year’s festival is changing up some things. Where you meet Santa in EPCOT during the festival is changing!

The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is happening from November 28th through December 30th. The festival will bring special food booths, activities, and special entertainment to EPCOT. One of the biggest things you’ll be able to do, though, is meet the big guy himself, Santa! Now, in previous years, Santa has met with EPCOT visitors at The Odyssey, but that’s changing this year.

At this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, Santa is moving over to CommuniCore Hall, where he’ll be meeting people every day through December 24th at 11 AM, 12:30 PM, 2 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5 PM. So if meeting Santa is on your list for the festival, you’ll want to make sure to note this change.

CommuniCore Hall was originally pitched as an additional space to be used for festivals, so we’re glad to see something new happening there. Note that JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season will also be moving this year…instead of the Promenade, you’ll be able to catch it on the outside stage at CommuniCore.
