Lots of change is about to happen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and that includes the change of a certain Disney Visa Cardholder perk. Let’s take a look at all the details that we know!
Have you ever checked out the Star Wars Launch Bay Disney Visa Cardholder perk? If you bring your Disney Visa Card to the Launch Bay, you can get a Cardmember-exclusive Star Wars Photo Opportunity. You know we love our special photo-ops!

Make your way over to the Launch Bay to try out this exclusive perk because you won’t have access to it much longer. Starting on September 25th, 2025, the exclusive Disney Visa photo op at Launch Bay won’t be available.

That being said, Disney did state on their website under the photo op that “more details on a new Disney Visa Cardmember photo experience are coming soon.“ This confirms that the special photo op for Disney Visa Holders isn’t going away, it’s just changing into a new experience.

Now, we know what you’re thinking — “where or what will this new experience be?”. Disney hasn’t said anything yet, although we think it could do something with the brand new Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s reimagined land — which will be replacing the Animation Courtyard as we know it, including Star Wars Launch Bay.

The new building will have a story that it’s a studio where the animators have temporarily stepped away, and the characters have come to life to take over. It will also include an experience where you can learn to draw your own character sketch. Disney shared an updated look at a poster for the attraction, including a NEW character — Robin Williams’ Lost Boy!

We think this place could have tons of photo opportunities and unique experiences, bringing a new sense of life and magic to Hollywood Studios. It could also house a completely new and awesome exclusive experience for Disney Visa Cardmembers if Disney chooses to do so.
