You know you’re a Disney Adult when a new park map makes you excited. Even though we know our way around the parks like the back of our hands, we still like picking up a map from time to time to see if we’ve missed any big changes and keep it for our scrapbooks.
A new map was recently released at Magic Kingdom, and we’re spilling all the details with you.
We love that Elsa is on the cover to represent the new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. This new addition to Magic Kingdom is bringing on the sparkling lights with other characters like Peter Pan, Mirabel, Asha, and the Blue Fairy.
We also got a new look at the overall map. We’re ready for new expansions like the Villains Land and Piston Peak, the Cars-themed land, to hit the areas, but we have quite a few years before that happens.
For now, the whole area is empty! This is where Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America were, so once Piston Peak starts saying “coming soon,” we’re going to be left with a lot of greenery on the map. The Villains Land is going behind Big Thunder Mountain, which is also getting its own renovation to open early next year.
Whether you’re a local who comes all the time or a first-timer stepping into Magic Kingdom, grabbing a map can help you discover experiences you never thought of. While all the information is available in the app, it’s nice to see it all listed out, which is also great for little ones to help choose where they want to go based on pictures.
All the height requirements, restaurants, and stores are also listed if you’re looking for somewhere new to try! Bathrooms are also on the map, so you can easily see which one is closest without having to ask a Cast Member.

Boy, the shrubbery grew fast in that Florida heat & humidity 🤣
I still like to get a map so that I am not always looking at my phone.
