As a lifelong Disney fan, ( I am 62 years old, proposed to my wife at Disney, honeymooned at Disney, 8 Disney cruises, several resident annual passes for the whole family AND a Vacation Club member for 15+ years)
We have decided because of the woke policies, continued price increases along with decreasing value and seriously declining entertainment offerings and attention to details we are going to use our vacation points to stay at Disney Resorts ( where they changed their policies to demand entry to snoop through your room every 24 hours, do not disturb signs were replaced with room occupied signs to allow entry) while we will be staying at Disney Resorts we will be spending our time and more importantly our money at Universal.
We have ALWAYS been Disney fans and supporters the properties and grounds are gorgeous ( but they have been cutting budgets for this as well) but until Disney gets back to the original Walt Disney vision for the parks to be a place the whole family can enjoy and escape the realities of life for a while, we will use our investment in Disney Vacation Club for accomodations to visit Universal theme parks.
Disney executives have chosen to inject woke politics and policies into the entire Disney experience and decided short term profit is priority over long term customer loyalty and support and finally they decided to cut back park services, perks, all while reducing any investment in one of Walt’s biggest priorities to make Disney stand out from the rest”Plussing the guests experience”
