The Mexico kiosk is one of the most popular booths each year at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival (it was our Best of the Fest booth in 2024!) Come with us as we check it out for 2025 and see if its reign continues!
The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you — we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. It’s time to travel to Mexico! Let’s go!
Menu
This year, the Flauta de Barbacoa — Fried tortillas filled with barbacoa beef topped with salsa verde, romaine lettuce, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco — returns to the Mexico booth.
Two new food items debut for 2025: Tostada de Carnitas made with braised Pork atop a fried corn tortilla with chipotle black beans, salsa ranchera, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco, and Flan de Cajeta — a creamy Mexican custard with caramel sauce and toasted almonds.
Drinks for 2025 include a new Clarita Margarita made with Cristalino Tequila, orange liqueur, and clarified lemon juice, as well as a new Strawberry-Pomegranate Margarita featuring 100% Agave Blanco Tequila, Joven Mezcal, pomegranate liqueur, strawberry purée, and spicy agave.
Mexican craft beer returns this year.
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
The new Tostada de Carnitas made with braised Pork atop a fried corn tortilla with chipotle black beans, salsa ranchera, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco is priced at $8. The corn tortilla was nice and crispy with some lovely toppings like those refried black beans. The pork was tender and flavorful and had even a hint of sweetness, almost like it had a mole sauce. So the Mexico booth is still batting a 10/10 for us.
The Flauta de Barbacoa is returning this year for $8.75. It’s made with fried tortillas filled with barbacoa beef topped with salsa verde, romaine lettuce, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco. This is another winner for us, as always. It has a great flavor and a good amount of crunch. The meat inside is juicy and tender with a nicely cooked tortilla on the outside. And then there’s that beautiful cheese!
Also new for 2025 is the Flan de Cajeta for $6.75 — a creamy Mexican custard with caramel sauce and toasted almonds. We honestly expected something like a store-bought gritty flan, but y’all, this was a warm and creamy delight that was perfectly sweet, but not TOO sweet. It was so smooth and it tasted homemade that we almost wept because it tasted like the homemade flan we make.
Yep, Mexico still has it.
Drinks
The first new drink for 2025 is the Clarita Margarita, priced at $13.75, made with Cristalino Tequila, orange liqueur, and clarified lemon juice. First, we’re just going to tell you that if you’re this close to the Mexico pavilion, we would probably just go to La Cava del Tequila first for margaritas. However, with that being said, the freeze-dried fruit on top of this drink was sort of like fruit leather. Also, the fruit mixes with the drink, and it becomes this pretty violet concoction.
Next up is the Strawberry-Pomegranate Margarita featuring 100% Agave Blanco Tequila, Joven Mezcal, pomegranate liqueur, strawberry purée, and spicy agave for $13.25. The strawberry pomegranate syrup kinda sits on the bottom. This is also a heavier drink, but it’s GORGEOUS to look at and to sip. We really liked the strawberry with the spicy agave rim.
Mexican Craft Beer is also on the menu this year for $6 to $11.
OVERALL
When it comes to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, the Mexico booth has been the most consistently good throughout the years, and this year is no different. The food was fantastic, the drinks were fun (even if we’d rather get a margarita at La Cava), and the vibes just hit in a multitude of ways.
