Happy Halloween, everyone! Halloween Time has officially arrived in Disneyland, and we’ve been enjoying the season.

The parks are filled with fun and spooky decorations, Oogie Boogie Bash has kicked off, and the Halloween food and drinks have arrived. Seriously, this could be our favorite time of year. But did you know that there’s ANOTHER fun thing to do during Halloween Time in Disneyland? It’s a fun scavenger hunt called Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, and Disney finally revealed this year’s prize for the activity.

Every year, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit takes place in Downtown Disney, Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure. This year, the scavenger hunt starts on August 29th and runs through October 31st. You can purchase a map for $11.99 from select locations throughout the resort. The idea is that you have to find hidden character pumpkins and then place the corresponding sticker on the map when you see it.

Once you have all the stickers, you return the map to select locations, and you get a prize. Now, we know what prizes will be available this year: a choice of several Halloween-themed mini cornhole sets. The choices include a Pluto Cornhole Set…

…a Goofy Cornhole Set…

…and a Stitch Cornhole Set. HOW FUN!

Again, you’ll be able to start playing on August 29th. It’s usually been my experience that the price of the map is usually well worth it to get the souvenir prize (and it’s usually something you can’t get anywhere else). It’s also a fun activity for everyone in your group, including kids.

We’re still waiting to see if the prize will be the same in Disney World, where EPCOT hosts its own version of Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. In the past, the prizes have been the same on both coasts, but we’ll have to wait and see when the scavenger hunt officially debuts in Disney World.
