There’s a NEW Halloween bar in Disney World!
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is one of our favorite themed hangouts in Disney World, located in The Landing at Disney Springs. The bar/restaurant itself is Indiana Jones-themed, but around the holiday season, it gets a festive overlay. Now, for the first time, Jock Lindsey’s is also doing a Halloween overlay!
Disney invited us out to check out Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar during a media event, and we got to see the space decorated, as well as try a couple of the treats on the menu (no tricks, here!).
All throughout the space, there are seasonal decorations, from pumpkins to spooky cats to black and orange garlands.
They really outdid themselves with the theming here! Check out the jack-o-lanterns — the kitschy decor is the perfect vibe for a place like this.
And of course, the menu is themed to match! There’s a little bit of spooky, a little bit of eerie, and a LOT of delicious.
Starting out this seasonal menu are four different drinks. First is The Spike Trap for $16.50. It’s made with Malibu Coconut Rum, Stoli Vanilla Vodka, cream of coconut, and Sprite, garnished with a ghost marshmallow.
Next up is the Scarab Beetle Essence, which is $16.50 as well. This one’s made with Siesta Key Silver Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, DOLE Pineapple juice, and grenadine.
The Snake Egg Surprise is a mocktail option for $6.75. It’s made of Simply Lemonade, lime juice, desert pear syrup, and green apple boba pearls.
The fourth drink was the one our reporter got to try — the Cauldron Cooler for $17.50. It’s Hendrick’s Gin, Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and butterfly pea extract.
This drink changed colors when you add the vial to the beaker, which is super fun! Flavor-wise, it’s on the sweeter side and reminds us a bit of the violet sake, but not quite as intense. You definitely get notes of lavender and lemon without too much tartness, and it’s pretty strong overall on the alcohol end.
Moving on to the food items, there are five different eats you can try on the seasonal menu. First up is the Skull of the Dead for $16, which is mojo pork, cheddar, flour tortilla, and pickle pico de gallo.
These are served with a little syringe of sauce on the side that had a sriracha-like flavor. It wasn’t overly spicy but really enhanced the flavor of the quesadillas. The meat inside the quesadillas was tender and juicy, and you really got that mojo flavor coming through. This wasn’t the most exciting of the options, but it was really fun presentation-wise.
After that, we tried the Alien Invader Sliders for $16. These are made with crispy Nashville hot fried chicken, sliced provolone, dill pickle slices, cheddar-chive biscuit, and Queen olives.
This was one of our favorite items on the new menu! The olive eyeballs and pickle tongues make a truly stellar presentation here, and the spice rub on the chicken was fantastic. There was a bit of sweetness, but also a nice depth of favor without being too spicy. The biscuits were fluffy and moist and held up well without crumbling too much.
The Phantom Dumplings were $14. They’re chicken and pork dumplings wrapped in rice paper and served with teriyaki dipping sauce, and they look like little ghosties!
Of the bunch, we thought these were the cutest presentation-wise, with some deliciously juicy meatballs. The rice paper was kind of difficult to bite, but it might’ve been worth it for the presentation alone.
After that, we got the Zombie Eye Bites for $17. Traditional deviled egg filling, crispy fried chicken, and black olives make up this snack.
Jock Lindsey’s is known for its deviled eggs, so it was no surprise that they had a Halloween version! These come served in a box, and there are a few different boxes you can get with your set of eggs. (Ours had beetles on it!) These were pretty classic deviled eggs with chicken on top — the filling was whipped and creamy, and it contrasted nicely with the crispy chicken. Overall, it reminded us of a chicken salad.
Last but not least, we tried the Cursed Mummy Sausages, which are $14. Mini smoked sausages wrapped in puff pastry and served with pomegranate-mustard sauce are made to look like mummies in a coffin!
These come inside a box that makes noises and sounds when you open it. It makes five different sounds! They’re essentially pigs in a blanket, but the hot dog had a nice snap to it, and the dough was crispy on the outside with a nice buttery flavor.
Overall, we had a blast at Jock Lindsey’s and ate some delicious new snacks! They’re really going hard into the aesthetics and presentation here, and it shows. So if you’re interested in some spooky vibes, make sure to stop by and check out the Halloween Bar this year. It’s open now!

We’d really like to try this! Unfortunately we missed out on the Adventurer’s Club, but at least we can look forward to what the place has to offer now. And now I also want deviled eggs and pigs in blankets 😁
