If you like waffles too, you have to check out the NEW waffles at this spot we recently went to at the Disneyland Resort!

If you’ve been to the Grand Californian Hotel at the Disneyland Resort, you may have heard of the Craftsman Bar and Grill. They’re always doing certain “foods” of the month. For example, we’ve tried their hot dogs of the month. This time we went for the waffle of the month!

August Waffle of the Month!

Introducing the August Waffle of the Month, also known as the S’mores Waffle! We got it for $17 — okay, yes, a little pricey for a waffle, but look at it, how could we pass it up? This was delicious, but it’s a bit much for one person to have for breakfast. The Belgian waffle bites were soft with a nice golden brown outside, making for a satisfying and sweet crunchy bite.

On its own, the Ghirardelli chocolate sauce was almost too rich for us, but mixing it with the graham cracker crème anglaise helped tone down the rich chocolate flavor. We thought the anglaise would mostly have a sweet vanilla flavor, but it tasted just like graham crackers, with hints of a sweet vanilla flavor. Most of the mini marshmallows were toasted, giving them a gooey texture! If you love chocolate and s’mores, or are looking for a sweet start to the day, we’d go for this!

S’mores Waffle!

While we did enjoy it, it’s heavy and filling, so we couldn’t finish it on our own. Hey, at least that means you get your money’s worth for this thing. It’s very rich and sweet, so we’d recommend sharing it with someone. All in all, great waffle of the month!
