Disney World Is About to Look TOTALLY Different on September 2nd

This whole summer, Disney has significantly increased the number of entertainment offerings available around the parks for their Cool Kid Summer event.

It’s brought new entertainment, characters, snacks, and more throughout all four parks. However, all good things have to come to an end, and summer is indeed coming to an end. This doesn’t just mean the name of the event is going away, though — a LOT of additions in the parks will also be going away, which will make all four parks look pretty different!

For starters, the ticket deals that help you save on your kiddos’ tickets for the parks, as well as your hotel sta,y will be going away, which includes the following deals:

50% Off Kids Tickets through September 20th
3-Day, 3-Park Ticket for $89 per day through September 22nd
Disney+ subscribers can save on rooms at select Disney Resort Collection hotels starting at $99 a night through August 31st
Florida Resident Summer Magic Ticket through September 27th

However, the offerings inside the park are all going away as soon as September 2nd, as the Cool Kid Summer event officially runs through September 1st. In Magic Kingdom, this includes the Big Top Bash at Storybook Circus and its performers, the Galactic Blast at Tomorrowland, and the craft inspired by Elio inside Merchant of Venus.

In EPCOT, the popular dance party GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall will be going away. We’re going to miss dancing with the DJ while Goofy played games with guests.

Over in Hollywood Studios, Get Animated at Animation Courtyard will be going away, which doesn’t just mean the show, but also the characters meeting outside, as well as the additional snack stand added. This is just in time to make way for the even bigger changes coming to Animation Courtyard as a whole. A new playground will be on the way, and “The Magic of Disney Animation” will be opening in 2026.

The Disney Jr. Dance Party will not be opening until The Magic of Disney Animation opens in 2026, which will feature a new Disney Jr. show.

Finally, we’ll be saying goodbye to the nature-based Adventure All Around the Park offering in Animal Kingdom, which included adventures with Disney characters, limited-time Wilderness Explorers badges, and A Celebration Sing-Along at Discovery Island.
