HAPPY HALLOWEEN! The spooky season has officially kicked off at Disney World, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Halloween decorations have gone up in Magic Kingdom, Halloween treats have arrived, and we’re coming to you LIVE from the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2025. We’re experiencing all the sights, sounds, snacks, and more, so come along with us for a night of frightfully festive fun!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event that occurs on select nights in Magic Kingdom from now through October 31st. Although the party doesn’t officially start until 7PM (when Magic Kingdom closes to those without a party ticket), those with tickets can get into Magic Kingdom as early as 4PM.
Ticket prices start at $119 and go up to $229 (plus tax) depending on the date you plan to attend. We’ve got all the dates and ticket prices right here. Party tickets for each party are limited, so you get exclusive access to Magic Kingdom with fewer crowds, as well as exclusive party entertainment, food, ride overlays, and more.

Getting Started
Your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket can get you into Magic Kingdom three hours before the official party start time. We arrived early (along with many other guests!) and at the Transportation & Ticket Center, they were directing all party-goers to the ferryboat.
Once you scan into the park, you’ll get a party wristband from a Cast Member. You’ll need this wristband because it separates party visitors from Magic Kingdom’s day visitors.
If you’re already in Magic Kingdom for the day, you can pick up a wristband at different spots in Magic Kingdom. Look for signs that say “Wristband Distribution.”

Once you’ve got that band, you are ready to rock ‘n’ roll…and enjoy the spooky festivities!
Crowds
We made our way into Magic Kingdom right at 4 PM, so we had plenty of time to explore the party. But, we certainly weren’t the only ones who wanted to do that! There was quite a crowd waiting outside the gates to scan in.
And if you’re planning to rope drop the party at 4PM, you should know that its very hot in Florida right now! Getting there early means you’ll be standing in the direct sun until they start letting everyone inside.
We’ll keep you updated on the rest of the crowds throughout the party!
The Map
As you enter the party, make sure you pick up a special party map. This will have everything you need about your evening, including entertainment showtimes, trick-or-treat locations, character meet and greets, snack spots, and more.
The physical map also comes with a QR code so you can access the digital event guide. This thing is your holy grail for navigating the party.
The map also gives you a rundown of available dining locations, so you know where to snag something to eat during your visit.
This is different from a regular park map and makes for a fun (FREE!) souvenir, so don’t forget to pick one up as you head into the event.
Trick-or-Treating
One of the most fun things you can do at the party is go trick-or-treating. Yes, adults get to trick-or-treat in Disney World! You’ll be given a reusable treat bag when you enter the park for the party. Pro tip: bring your own bag because the free bags are WAY too small for all the candy you’ll get.
The bags have fun party-themed designs on the front and back. This year, the backside has the grave diggers from the Boo to You Parade.
And when you pick up your bag at the party entrance, you’ll also get your first candy of the night — a bag of Caramel M&Ms!
There is also a special treat bag for those with food allergies, so if you are in need of those accommodations, make sure to ask.
There are SO MANY treat locations throughout the park, and you’ll find them all listed on the party map!
Costumes
Both adults and children are allowed to wear costumes to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and we look forward to seeing them every year! There are some rules you’ll need to know, though.
For visitors ages 13 and under:
- Costumes and some costume masks may be worn; masks must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.
For Guests 14 Years of Age or Older:
- Costumes may be worn according to these guidelines. Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from Disney parks, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards:
- All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
- Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
- Costumes may not contain any props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
- Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
- Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
- Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (for example, full-length Princess dresses)
- Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
- Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable.
- Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus. Costume headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
- Costume masks of any kind may not be worn.
Make sure you stay tuned for what sort of creative costumes partygoers come up with this year.
Characters
When we entered the park, some characters were there to greet us, including Cruella.
You’ll also get to meet your favorite characters…in their Halloween outfits. Mickey and Minnie are decked out in their Halloween costumes!
Goofy and Daisy were having a blast in their costumes!
You can also meet some rare characters, including Jack and Sally (and they even got updated looks this year). Be warned, though, the line to meet them can get PRETTY long.
If meeting Jack and Sally is a priority, you’ll want to get in line as soon as you can!
Food
If you ask us, the BEST part about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the exclusive food and drinks you’ll find throughout the park! You won’t be able to get these snacks anywhere else but at the party.
Let’s dive into the list!
Storybook Treats
First up on the list, we’re heading to Storybook Treats in Fantasyland to grab the Ursula Cone for $8.29. This is a wild berry soft-serve with candy coral and citrus cotton candy in a black vanilla cone.
This definitely comes out looking like the sea witch herself!

The Lunching Pad
Over at The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland, there are a couple of treats you can snag during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. First is the Ghoulish Blue Raspberry Slushy for $6.69. It’s made with a Fanta Blue Raspberry slushy and black vanilla drizzle.
The other option is the Skull Cake for $5.49. It’s made with banana cake and filled with dulce de leche. This one reminds us a lot of the former skull brownies from Halloween parties past.
This is definitely a good spot to stop if you’re looking to indulge your sweet tooth.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
Over in Frontierland, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe has a few new bites. The savory item is the Buzzard Wings for $11.99. These are whole chicken wings tossed with grilled onions, jalapeños, and lime.
For all you churro fans out there, we also picked up the Pumpkin Pie Mini Churros rolled in orange sugar and served with pumpkin pie dipping sauce. These are available for $6.49.
We were fairly impressed by both of these items, so you might want to add them to your snack list for the party.

Casey’s Corner
At Casey’s Corner, the Candy Corn Verrine will cost you $5.99 and is made with layers of salted caramel ganache, marshmallow panna cotta, and whipped cream topped with caramel corn and candy corn.
It’s absolutely stunning with those bright colors!

The Cajun Crawfish and Sausage BOOtine has Waffle fries topped with Cajun-inspired crawfish, andouille sausage gravy, and cheese curds for $13.49. Looks delicious!
Finally, we washed these snacks down with Hot Honey Lemonade, which is Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with hot honey and a chili-lime rim for $6.29.

Spring Roll Cart
Available at the Spring Roll Cart next to Adventureland is the Spicy Pork Spring Roll served with pineapple mustard. It’s available for $9.50.
This spring roll flavor has been seen before (last year, in fact), but the sauce is new.

Sleepy Hollow
There are two things we wanted to try over at Sleepy Hollow! The Creepy Kimchi Corn Dog for $10.29 is a hand-dipped corn dog rolled in malt vinegar and scallions with Hades relish and kimchi-mayonnaise dipping sauce.
We also had the Pumpkin-spiced Funnel Cake Sundae for $8.99. This is a pumpkin funnel cake topped with pumpkin gelato, whipped cream, pumpkin-spiced caramel, marshmallow pumpkins, and sprinkles.
If you’re a pumpkin spice fan, that funnel cake is a can’t-miss!

Pinocchio Village Haus
Starting out our visit here, we got the Undead Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips for $10.99. These are fried chicken strips tossed in garlic-parmesan sauce, parmesan, and parsley.

They also have the Phantasmal Fried Pumpkin Ravioli served with black garlic aïoli. This is available for $9.49.

Exclusive merchandise is available at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that you won’t find anywhere else. We spotted the whole collection at The Emporium, where there was a rather long line when the party began.
They’ve got everything from bags and mugs to pins and shirts. Check out the whole collection below.

Parade
The Boo To You! parade is a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party must! It all starts with a ride down the parade route by the Headless Horseman!

Then the parade kicks off!
This year’s parade just got plussed up, too, with the addition of Mother Gothel on one of the Villains floats.
The parade is a great chance to see a lot of your favorite characters, including Disney Villains!

This is also a chance to see Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dressed up like the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.
The parade is another must-see event at the party. It’s so much fun!
Dance Parties
If you want to get your groove on, you can check out several dance parties happening all over the park, including the new Zombies 4-themed ZOM-BEATZ BASH at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.
Other dance parties include the Disney Jr. Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café and a dance party starring DJ Ringmaster in Storybook Circus.

If you’re looking to ride some attractions with short wait times, here’s your chance. Even better, though, some rides have special overlays you can only experience during the party, including a Halloween-themed Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
