Who’s ready to get spooky? Halloween is here at Disney World, and we can think of no greater way to celebrate than to try some ghoulish treats.

Skull Meatloaf?!
We headed to The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom to try their limited-time Halloween dishes. These special eats will be available till October 31st during normal park hours and during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Who’s ready to dive in?
The Plaza Restaurant is right on the corner of Main Street and has an early 20th-century style, and serves lunch from 11 AM to 3 PM and dinner from 3 PM to 9 PM.

The Plaza Restaurant!
Reservations are recommended for this spot, but same-day dining may be available. We love that these are available at the restaurant all day long because we love getting to enjoy the Halloween spirit without having to pay for a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket.

The Halloween Additions!
All four of these dishes are brand new this year, which makes them even more special! We started off with the Goblins and Ghoulies drink for $16.50, which is made of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, Disaronno Originale Liqueur, apple cider, and pomegranate juice.

The Goblins and Ghoulies
Dang, this was good! The fruit flavor is very apparent but not overwhelming. It’s not very strong, and it reminded us more of a punch, like a Capri Sun. The rum wasn’t very strong, which was perfect for peeps who don’t love super strong alcohol flavors. You can taste a bit of the spice right on your tongue, but again, it’s not hit you over the head with spices. It was very good and I would absolutely drink again! If you’re looking for a strong rum flavor, this isn’t for you.

The top!
Then we had the Pumpkin-spiced Coffee Barbecue Pork Sandwich for $19.00. This is made with coffee-rubbed pork featuring Joffrey’s Pumpkin Crème Brûlée Coffee Seasonal Blend, cold brew barbecue sauce, and a slaw with pumpkin-spiced aioli on a purple sweet potato bun. Talk about pumpkin overload!

The pork sandwich!
Okay, that wasn’t nearly as scary as we thought it would be. Yes, every single item has pumpkin in it, but it’s not like being inside a Jack-O-Lantern, which we had anticipated. The pork is moist and stuck together well, so it’s not super messy. The bun was really good and tasted like a potato bun. Honestly, we wish this was here all year round! The slaw was light and vinegar-based, so it wasn’t too heavy. The crispy onions added a great texture, and they also offer a slight pumpkin taste in each bite that is subtle. It’s a solid option with a fun and different flavor profile. As a bonus, the fries were hot, crispy, and delicious.

A look inside!
We also had the Skull Meatloaf for $27.00, which is a Caribbean-style glazed meatloaf served with loaded mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. It was supposed to look like a skull, and we didn’t feel like it did, but that might be a pro for some people! We’re in the Halloween spirit just by looking at it.

The Skull Meatloaf!
It reminds us of making Mummy Meatloaf with my family every year on Halloween. The mashed potatoes had hints of pumpkin spice, which was weird but interesting! It tastes good, but again, it tastes like pumpkin spice, which is different from potatoes. This one definitely had to grow on us. There’s bacon in it, which gives it a bite and cuts through the pumpkin spice. We liked it paired with the meatloaf.

So weird but so fun
The actual meatloaf was moist, even though it was on the small side. It’s a traditional meatloaf with the crispy ketchup and tomato layer on top that gives it a little bit of sweetness. It is Caribbean style, so it’s not as sweet, but it still feels very traditional. A barbecue sauce was served with it, which helped to cut down on the pumpkin spice flavor as well. It was weird but good, and definitely grew on us after a few bites.

A look inside!
We weren’t leaving without dessert, so we had the Ghostly Delight Sundae for $9. This sundae is chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate cookie crumbs, marshmallow cream, almonds, sugar cookies, and sprinkles. So what if we cried about how cute it was when it was delivered to my table? We’re just people who are obsessed with ice cream and cartoon ghosts.

The Ghostly Delight Sunday
After trying this, we can say we think we’re in love. This is SO good. The chocolate ice cream is super creamy and tastes like Rocky Road. The ghost cookies were also delicious. They’re crumbly with that hard icing on top like store-bought sugar cookies (just how we like them).

The cookies!
The marshmallow fluff in the sides is so fun and easy to eat. Genuinely, we would come back just for this. Plaza Restaurant, please, we need this all year round! No notes!

Have a bite!
Overall, you should make sure to add The Plaza Restaurant to your Halloween bucket list this year. We had a blast eating these themed eats in a sit-down style restaurant where we could relax before celebrating more Halloween fun. We were pleasantly surprised by these options and, honestly, they just support our request to make Halloween year-round.
