JUST ANNOUNCED: We Know When You Can Watch Disney’s ‘Thunderbolts*’ Movie on Disney+

There are so many new shows and movies we need to watch on Disney+!

The live-action Lilo and Stitch is debuting on September 3rd, Pixar’s Elio drops online later in August, and now, for our Marvel fans, we finally know when The Thunderbolts* can be watched comfortably from your couch on Disney+!

Get ready to join the Thunderbolt team soon! The Marvel movie will debut on Disney+ starting on August 27th.

The new movie follows a group of anti-heroes who battled with broken pasts, regrets, and loneliness. The team is faced with the challenge of overcoming their individual problems to come together. In the end (SPOILER!!) they manage to form The New Avengers! In our defense, Marvel revealed that they were the New Avengers only a few days after the movie debuted.

The movie follows Yelena Belova, John Walker, Ghost, Red Guardian, Bucky, and Bob as they overcome their dark, yet funny, experiences together. It stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, and more.

Marvel fans praised this film as the comeback of Marvel movies after several years of lackluster reviews. At the time of writing, Rotten Tomatoes has a critics’ score of 88% and a fan score of 93%. Despite this, the film only made $371 million globally, becoming one of the lowest-grossing MCU movies of all time, and losing millions of dollars according to Variety.
